Cheryl's story line as become beyond annoying. And Betty, have you not learned anything in 4 seasons? The only interesting storyline this season is Jughead's.
Do these writers know nothing about lie detectors? That you first have to establish a baseline? But I guess that doesn't matter since things in this show aren't realistic nor make sense anyways, it's obviously written by someone with the mind of a child.
I thought Chic was killed ?? Archie begging Hiram for help, the episode after he got out of jail. They will be at each other’s throats again by the end of the season.

Yeah, because someone who has lived in Miami all of their life, and also owns businesses in Miami, would be totally willing to move to Riverdale of all places at the drop of a hat. Totally realistic and believable.
I kind of assumed, with Charles now being in the show and being an FBI agent, that Chic had been lying back in S2 about living with him. But, no, that's true. That only happened like 2 years ago at most, more like a year and a half. So how the hell is Charles now an FBI agent who is high ranking enough to train candidates and also decide which cases he works on? That makes absolutely no fucking sense. Is he not an FBI agent after all? Are they really doing a fake FBI agent storyline for the second time? Or is it just nonsensical? Either choice is perfectly possible for Riverdale.
Forsythe the First was only at Stonewall for less than one semester before dropping out. How much did he write? Were his classmates really so enamored with his writing that they followed what he wrote at a different school? Because that makes no sense. No teenager would bother doing that for someone they knew for like 3 months tops. Also, why would Forsythe be included in the club yearbook photo if he dropped out? That doesn't make sense, either.
Mr. Chipping trying to set the record straight on Jughead's behalf is dumb. Jughead has been attending the school for like a month at most. He also doesn't really have any concrete proof - just a feeling. Neither Jughead, and especially not Mr. Chipping, gain anything from revealing who wrote the first Baxter novel. There's literally no reason for Mr. Chipping to try and do something with that information.

As much as I love Cheryl, this storyline is ruining her and I hope it ends ASAP.
Not diggin' Hermosa either, shady and irritating already but that is probably the point so I'll let that one slide for now. Hermione and Hiram getting it on, damn that was hot and all but also made Hermione go back to being Hiram's b*tch, I kind of wished they would show more of Hermione as a character of her own instead of being in the shadow of her man.
Glad we got to know a bit more about Charles and I am excited to see where they'll take this, please writers: surprise us.
