In this episode, landscaper Carson Arthur and decorator Amanda Eaton bring new life to a suburban garden. Gardening is a hobby for our homeowners, but they just cant seem to get their garden to the next level. In the makeover, Carson replaces their aging patio and fills the garden with colorful plants and unique trees. Amanda creates privacy on the patio with an intimate seating area and arbor... and, as a special treat, a putting green at the back satisfies the couples other hobby, golf.

In this episode, decorator Amanda Eaton and landscaper Carson Arthur bring some order, and structure, to a small formal garden in the city. The plants are overgrown and the patch of grass is turning to mud under the mature trees. So in this makeover, Carson cleans up the planting beds and mirrors the existing flagstone patio with a new one. Now Amanda has the perfect spot for intimate seating and she adds appropriate lighting in amongst the statuary... so, with two patios, our homeowners have a choice of where they relax and where they entertain.

A new deck, a stone path, a hot tub, an outdoor kitchen and spa accessories seem like just the right elements to finish this job... no doubt, the new path will see a lot of foot traffic between the hot tub and the pool.

The plantings establish the boundaries of the rooms and provide our homeowners with some privacy. Amanda accentuates the different uses of these garden rooms with unique furnishings and accessories... in the end, each member of the family has a place to relax and enjoy their new garden.
