So many right-wing snowflakes crying because the show doesn't doesn't feed them the same lies their media does. Obviously doing a good job.

I was actually really surprised it's so good. Looking at recent versions of new shows which are simply terrible like Charmed reboot. Worthy successor of great serie

This show is surprisingly very good. I say "surprisingly"because it seems a bit cheesy at first glance. However the scenario is actually really interesting and the characters are all loveable.
I was highly exhausted to see comments about "politics ruining the show", though. First of all... Everything is political. But also, the way this show talks about human rights just makes it more rich, more interesting. It's very sad to rate a show that low just because your poor feelings were hurt when you realized the show was trying to make you think about other human beings :(

good show politics ruined the direction and potential of this show.

So far, just a bad reboot of the original, I personally thought the original was great as this is just trying to mix in the usual shit most of today's shows add in. I will try and watch some more with the hopes that it'll improve but with what I had seen with the first episode I highly doubt that it will. My guess is that it won't make it even the 3 seasons that the original did.

The show has it's ups and downs, has some weird moments that just are plain stupid (khm the resting heart rate scene while breaking into Geroryx khm khm) but it really shines in the moments where characters actually talk to each other, they have all the conversations that they should have. In maaaany other shows I would be practically screaming at the TV "just say the thing to them!", which isn't the case here.
All in all, the show is a good enough watch for us millenials that miss the original Roswell and want to be swoon by love.

Dont you hate when they ruin a show with politics? Leave the fantasy where it belongs. We have enough of Washington's bs in our daily lives. Let us enjoy the escape, and not use entertainment as propaganda.

I just finished the new season and can’t wait for the next!!! This show keeps my imagination running wild. I am not the greatest fan of Liz but KYLE, Max, Isebol, and Alex make up for subpar acting skills.

I just saw that a new season starts June 5th!!

a lot of people are complaining about politics and i thought it was typical right wing jerks crying about how there's a gay character or something.

and for the most part, it is. the things that this show deals with through the concept of "ET" aliens correlate to things that happen with immigrant aliens. it doesn't take a lot of imagination to draw comparisons.

but that's just it: the show doesn't really let you use your imagination sometimes. i'm not all about "shows are an escape from reality" and i am fine with entertainment crossing the boundary of reality. but some of the writing is really on the nose.

i don't think it really ruins the show but i did roll my eyes quite a few times.

also, the soundtrack is FANTASTIC.

Ah, YES! We're finally getting some more details about the backstory of these "aliens" showing scenes of the mothers. Very Dramatic, and heartfelt. The whole show is basically a Romantic SciFi. - Love how they are focusing a bit more on the technology and cool science side of this. Lets see how it plays out in this season.

I actually liked this better than the original in some respects (especially the fact that it wasn't set in High School). Still, as many others pointed out, the continued references to politics was off putting. Still, I'll continue to watch it because it's interesting enough. I hope the plot doesn't go down the route of the original series, though, since I like this new take a lot more.

Love watching this show. Only complaint, I have is TOO MANY COMMERCIALS!!!!
