“I once planned Megan Fox's bachelorette on this tiny island off the coast of Montenegro where nothing is illegal. Like nothing.” - What is this OBSESSION with the Balkans?! I guess nowadays it’s PC to talk shit only about certain countries, huh?
Stevie's existential crisis arc is such a mood.
There is too much Roland in this season so far. But at least he was funny in this episode: “It is a man. Your sexist instincts were right as usual”. Jonny: “Explain to me why the coffee is still hot?” Roland: “It’s called global warming, Jonny.”
So far this season I've been highly annoyed with half of the episodes. I really hope the final 10 don't continue along this trend.

[6.5/10] The only thing that pushes this one into “perfectly fine” territory for me is the Alexis/Stevie storyline. You’d think, after nearly six seasons, that I’d be totally numb to Alexis showing human decency, but it’s really considerate when she realizes the hardship that Stevie is going through and thus takes on the responsibility of being Maid of Honor while letting Stevie keep the title Alexis so desperately wants. I’ll confess that I was totally convinced Alexis would finagle the title away and send Stevie into some sort of downward spiral. Instead, Alexis chooses to help somebody else while putting a burden on herself, which is the sort of emotional maturity I love to see from a character who, admittedly, can still kind of annoy me.
Speaking of which, I’ll also confess that I find David’s sporadic bridezilla-ness more pestersome than amusing, but so it goes. I’ll also admit that I don’t love the balm he offers to his sister at the end of the episode. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a kind gesture to offer to have Alexis give him away. But what about his parents? I can see both Johnny and Moira being hurt by that. Maybe it’s something that the show will just gloss over, and I’m sure it’ll find something else for them to do, but it feels odd.
The other two storylines did next to nothing for me. The Johnny/Roland pairing has never worked on the show, and yet it’s returned to that well over and over again since the first season. The pair of them staking out an apparent squatter with a brown bag full of money and a gun, when they should really just call the police, is another dopey comic setup. I'm not enamored by the introduction of a prosecutor keeping a “low profile” at the new hotel, if only because it portends more zany adventures to come. And Johnny telling Roland “good job” after his usual ridiculous, practically inhuman behavior was utter crap.
Somewhere in the middle is the Moira/Jocelyn storyline about Jocelyn’s reaction to Moira’s trailer. It’s another instance of Moira being pretty callous toward Jocelyn while Jocelyn is trying her best to be polite and supportive. I know that’s somewhat baked into the premise of the show, but it doesn’t really work for me when the show’s dragged that dynamic out for six seasons without developing it further and showing Moira bending more over time. The fact that Jocelyn goes to the trouble to compliment Moira’s trailer after an initial less-than-flattering reaction, and it’s still not good enough for Moira chaps my hide a bit.
Overall, the Alexis/Stevie storyline boosts this one a bit, but the other two storylines drag it down.
