Is buying used PC hardware worth the risk? Can you save significant amounts of cash AND get top level, reliable performance from used parts?
Is making your own water block feasible? Linus decided to test that out using the Scrapyard Wars 2 water block made on his neighbor's CNC machine.
Are these boring? Let me know and I'll see what I can do different or if I should just stop trying to do these. =D
Hey, all! Episode 2 is coming tonight! Soon! It's still being worked on so in the meantime, I thought I'd throw this out here.
Luke and I have a (seemingly) simple task - build the best possible gaming PC with only the cash in your pocket. Oh yeah, we only get $300 cash.. and we only have 48 hours..
Luke's video card date is late, Linus has to keep an extra appointment to keep from disappointing a fan, and with the shopping complete, the trash talk can begin!
In the stunning conclusion to scrapyard wars episode 1, Linus beats Luke.. or Luke beats Linus.. I guess you'll just need to watch the bloody video.
With no maximum budget, season 3’s challenge may prove to be the most difficult one yet! The competitors need to make every dollar count because the winner will be the one who ends up with the most performance per dollar spent!
In episode 2 we find out what happens to Austin’s laptop, what treasures Linus will discover in the back-alley garage, and what’s going on with Luke’s wood… strategy.
In episode 3 the competition really begins to heat up - Linus makes a startling discovery, Luke’s project is really coming together, and Austin.. Will Austin finish on time??
Episode 4 - That’s when Star Wars got epic, and I think it’s safe to say the same thing about Scrapyard Wars season 3!
In Episode 5 the PCs are finally starting to come together, but none of the competitors know what the others are doing, and tensions are high!
The builds.. They’re coming together. It’s close now… This is by far the most intense episode of the season!
The stunning conclusion is finally here!
