A bit slow so far, with pretty much every survivor from season 1 now working at a hospital. Plus is no mention of Chanel's attack in the end of season 1. There's also no sign of Grace.
There's some laughs at least but while you "think wtf am I watching ?" Needed some more scares too. Although yes there's some in the end. Was too obvious who the victim "or victims", would be though."

Weak premiere. But I do think it has potential. I'm really liking the whole "a different color demon for each season" thing. Was Chad the highlight of Season 1? He sure is missed.

Dark, yet fun premiere! Although the lack of Hester upsets me, I'm sure they will pick up on that, forward. Also, why would Hester go through all that trouble during season one, just to confess what really happened to Denise right away? Is "their" excuse the double jeopardy thing? I get that they needed an excuse for the Chanels to be out in the world, but after watching last year's season finale, this move seems way less meaningful.

On a side note, the timeline confuses me a bit. After the 80's flashback, we are set in 2016, yet later Chanel mentions her sorority life from two year ago. Is the current action happening in 2017?

Am I overthinking it? Probably. At the end of the day, it's a Ryan Murphy show and something won't feel right anyway.

I may be reading too much into it and maybe it's just because of Emma Roberts but am I the only one getting parody American horror story vibes? First season based in the Kappa House and now the second season being in a hospital (not an asylum i know)

Either way it was a fun watch (even though I'm late to the party watching this) I was surprised to see Taylor Lautner but thought O'Donnell was a cool cast with him being in scream 2. I still think the humour holds up (so far) and it's fun to just turn your brain off and have a giggle.

do I think it's going to be as good as season 1? Probably not... Will I still enjoy it if it stays like this? Most definitely

I was reluctant heading into this season as the first one worked SO well as a stand alone and wrapped up nicely.
Unfortunately it didn't prove me wrong. It desperately clutched at straws to bring the characters back together again and I really don't see how it will play out moving forward.
The charming parody style worked well in season one but in the premiere it just comes off as bad acting and writing.
As with a lot of production teams, drunk on the success of a good first season, bigger names are shoehorned in. Stamos does the quirky doctor well but Taylor Lautner struggled to play deadpan next to the mastery of Billie Lourd.
Could put it down to new season jitters but I don't have high hopes for this one. Should have left it as a one season wonder.

I always thought when you left a party without notice it was called an "Irish Goodbye". I have to say that I have missed having Kirstie Alley on my TV and can't wait to see more of her character. Also, Stamos and Lautner play well off each. Who would have thought it? Thank goodness that Chad is back next week because I have missed that guy.
