Omg. When that RPG hit the oil rig it was so obvious they used gasoline to make the whole thing light up on fire. sigh Diesel is also hard to ignite- hence why we use it to fuel military vehicles. An RPG would not have set 4 or 5 buildings on fire. It would've exploded and set metal shrapnel flying everywhere. At this point, I'm just gonna assume I'm gonna be disappointed by the attention to detail on this series. At the very least, at least they're looking better and better on their CQB movement and clearing. It seems they're getting good consulting on that piece. But damn the Adobe After Effects flames really took away from the realism and was super distracting. The the machine gun on boats and RPG was enough of a lethal threat- there was no need to dramatize more by adding flames post film.
Also, when Clay jumped off the rig, he didn't do it correctly...... It looked sorta cool? If I was watching the Waterworld Show at Universal Studios and was expecting to see lots of movie stunts. But when you're jumping into water at that height it would've better to land feet together with a standing posture and with his helmet strapped on and hand on his head to prevent it from coming off. He would've needed to unstrap his rifle though or it'd be liable to injure him as he entered the water.
What would've been super cool would be if they picked up clay from the water the UDT way with the rubber hose.....or a guy literally grabbing him and throwing him while the boat kept moving. xD Ah well.
