To a foreigner this was very hard to follow. The subtitles available are OK but the speed at which the many characters talk means you spend a lot of time reading rather than watching. That means the huge character cast gets confusing. I had to drop it after episode 3. But it's very well made and my wife, who's Serbian, loves it.

Encapsulates inter war Balkan politics very well and a couple of good detective characters to boot. Reminiscent of Eric Ambler novels for those old enough to have read them. Slightly iffy subs but good production overall and of course a cracking story. Recommended if you can handle some complex politics.
