The previous episode was really good apart from the cheap CGI but this one really disappointed me. I've not read the books, and the Simon here was not appealing to me at all. He had been that annoying, nerdy and cliche character that every comedy movie has, only this series is not comedy. The previous episode caused me to feel something, while this one tried hard to make the viewer sympathize, yet it failed completely.
The moment I saw Raphael carrying Simon at the beginning it was just like in the book! The whole transition thing, Jace's story about the falcon.. and again, loving the new additions. Lydia seems like a really interesting character (yay for that reference to Henry) and Magnus being there in the middle of it all (HELLO ALEC, HELLO CHEST!!). I'm already looking at little Max with sadness :( Oh, and liking Raphael as much as in the books (better dress style than Camille, for sure), the last scene was amazing

Poor Simon. I hope he gets his old personality back and is as awkward and funny as he was before his transformation. He's still my favorite character.

I don't really get the dilemma? Surely you just bring Simon back, and if he doesn't want to live as a vampire just stake him then. Problem solved.
