All I liked about the first season is back and taken even further. I still think that having Moriarty behind everything kind of spoils the fun, but at least his acting has got slightly more tolerable than in the first season. The first episode is hands down my favorite, silly twist in the ending aside. Even though the plot of the second episode was a little muddled, I liked how they tried to do something a little different than usual while still borrowing elements from the original stories. The stakes are higher than ever in the season finale and, despite Moriarty’s obnoxious presence and a few possible plot holes here and there, it’s the one that felt the closest to a movie.
