This show really has run it's course (probably a few seasons ago). The characters are just SO dull!, and their involvment in the police work is unrealistic. My partner insists on staying with it till the end ... uggggh.
New series starts Jan 8th 2024 on bbc 1 at 9pm gmt
just to give you a bit of notice, the 4th episode of season 25 is on tonight
Why is season 25 not on this?
Season 25 had just started on BBC1 but not listed?
season 25 starts on BBC on monday 23/05/2022
I would like to ask a question, I have signed up for other sites looking for a Pacific title and they say that I can watch it if I sign up and give them my credit card information, then whenever I do sign on to it, they take my money and I'm unable to get to watch the show because its unavailable, so what kind of guarantee do I have that if I sign up on this site on for $30, if I'm able to watch what I want
So this is like the precursor to Bones somewhat. The episodes are each two parts. The stories are well done but they do tend to get slow. I think if they cut out the slow parts it would make out a bit better but over all I think it's a pretty good series so far. Just finished season 3..

Update: This series is firmly in my TOP SERIES list. I have been caught up since Season/Series 22 and now eagerly wait, every year, for the new episodes to broadcast. Emilia Fox has proven time and time again that the series fell in good hands when she was chosen in series 9 to take over the lead. And, what a treat when Amanda Burton returned in a guest role for series 25. Never does an episode fall beneath an 8 (great) but the series as a whole is a 10 (best of the best) out of 10.
Original review: I know this is a blast from the past but I'm just now discovering SILENT WITNESS, a police procedural from the perspective of the pathologist's office. I'm still in the Amanda Burton years (a stellar talent renowned for stage and screen). I love the bi-weekly investigations/who-done-its but I am equally fascinated by the fledgling performances by actors who are now headliners. I'll be at it for quite some time as the series is currently in its 22nd year and I'm just enjoying season 2 but I'm grateful to be able to see it in sequence and the personal drama's are as poignant as the mysteries. Britain certainly knows how to do crime shows. I give this a 7.9 (just short of great) out of 10. [Crime Drama]
