Is it ok if I wanna kill Richard after this episode?

This episode is hopefully the low point of the season.

If only someone had thought to animate the graphs on the portrait monitor behind Gilfoyle so they actually looked like performance monitoring. You know, instead of a static screenshot.

The technical details in here are complete bullshit, which is unusual for this show. Their technobabble explanations of things usually at least start with a kernel of realism. But on a MacBook Pro, the "Delete" key doesn't actually delete, it backspaces. There's no FTP client in the world that would respond to either "Delete" or "Backspace", whatever it's called, without a confirmation dialog. And on top of that, the transfer would definitely be running in a batch job or script, not at an interactive terminal. (And honestly, Intersite wouldn't have its only copies of "premium content" on the storage servers they were letting Pied Piper and Endframe download from. There's just no way their data practices could be that bad around business-critical files.)

Glad I'm not the only one flabbergasted at the nonsensical deletion scene. This show has been fairly reasonable about keeping things realistic (or at least keeping things vague enough so as to not blatantly be made up), but this was just plain fake and stupid. Nothing would work that way. It would've honestly made more sense if it really had been caused by that Seth guy hacking them.

Worst episode far. Not once but he met him twice? Really? What the fuck?

What kind of laptop is that? Having delete key in the top right corner of the keyboard layout. Even if it did, it ain't some notepad code that could be erased. And they managed to delete terabytes of data in a couple of minutes? lol
