4 years and multiple office jobs later a boss making a simple request/throwaway comment sending his reports scrambling and reading way too much into his off-hand remark, piling a ton of extremely urgent high priority requests onto their subordinates while the few who correctly interpret the boss's remark and only have a few follow-up comments see everyone else preparing way too much, think the boss will think less of them in comparison, then scramble and foist the same TiMe SeNsItIvE demands on their underlings only for the boss to use all of 2 sentences of everything his lackeys scrambled to pull together is too. damn. real.
