I am gonna miss this show much! Hope they make a movie soon as they did for Entourage (just for the fans)
One of the worst series finales I've ever seen. :poop:
I honestly loved it. Very bittersweet and a nice ending for these characters.
I guess i don't know how i feel about the ending... It was a bit unexpected..
It's a fitting way to end the series. Some great cameos, some great one liners, and enough of a finale to end the show. Although, like everyone else, I'll be expecting it to return in a few years time.
Nice work.
I'm fine with the company failing, but the premise for it...seems absurd. I'll echo what Bill Gates said in the episode: "It seemed like it was going to work. Something doesn't add up." I suppose even the screenwriters knew the ending was ridiculous. And apparently no other character in the episode thought, "Huh, that single incident caused the entire company to flop overnight despite successful launches in the past with proven, groundbreaking technology? Seems odd." Every other character was just like, "Yep, this all makes sense." (Aside from the characters who knew the truth, of course -- even if that truth was equally ridiculous). And imagine ending your series finale with a cliffhanger. Overall, a pretty unimpressive ending and unimpressive writing for an otherwise funny and technically relevant show.
Great show. Depressing but fitting ending shame they couldn’t t squeeze in a tj miller cameo at the end.
That was an abrupt ending, felt really rushed.
The show was like the company, started great and ended terribly...
Not exactly a satisfying ending but I guess better than "it was successful, everyone got rich, the world changed for the better, the end." Pretty creative, albeit this and the previous episode started taking this AI concept a bit too far considering the state of that technology. The simple premise of using some fancy new compression technology that leads to all these interesting ideas is quite convincing and not so far from reality that it stays clear of being straight up science fiction. But this grounded approach is thrown out the window with this AI deux ex machina stuff. Maybe they should have thrown in some quantum computing while they were at it. It's a bit simplistic that Dinesh could just plug in a USB drive to upload the code. The rats were a clever touch though. The 10+ years later trope is always a bit of a cop out, and is even cliché at this point (cf Parks and Recreation, Veep …).
Wasn't expecting the season to end after only 7 episodes. Altogether a great series, unfortunate that the production hit some rough patches near the end and presumably cut some corners in order to end up where it needed to.
In my opinion this end feels empty. I would like a spin off with new stories.
Well, it was fun... but i expected better
Great finalé IMHO.
It's a real bummer the show has ended. I really really liked it.
Had great time each week the show ran for more than half of the decade.

I thought it was a very satisfying and funny ending. I read people wanted them to become millionaires with Pied Piper but that would have been against the spirit of the series.
Meh... Where's the comedy of the previous seasons. I was bursting with laughter and now I was just finding myself looking at the time to see when does it end. This was supposed to be a comedy...
fun show okay ending?? could've been better but the show already was at it's last feet with repetitive Eric missing jokes. I wanted to see his special as much as any fan. pay the fat man some fat dough and he'd bend over for HBO. it's HBO I mean what can't HBO get if they really wanted??
Really a 5 or a 6 because of the abruptness, but I gave it a 7 just out of love for the characters. A fun ride has finally come to its end, and I suppose what happens is appropriate given the cyclical plot of near-disaster in the last two episodes of each season.
‘They’re calling it Rat-maggeddon. Except in New York where they’re calling it Wednesday.’ :joy:
Great ending IMO, with the team reunion at the house, it gave a good closure to the show by also giving an opening at the very end. A bit sad for not seeing Erlich a last time, but LMAO when fcking Jian-yang showed up in Tibet.
Having binge watched this entire series a few times since it ended, IMHO, this was a great ending to this show. A re-union episode intermingled with the true story of Pied Piper's last tech release, kept closely guarded by the core team.
Well, I guess that’ve brought us where we started… :man_shrugging_tone1:
Well done, the best Tech-Comedy/Satire Series so far. Great producers and great production turn into a great cameos :type_1_2::desktop_computer::woman_technologist_tone1::clap_tone2:
See you soon Pied Piper team!
Such a bittersweet season finale!
Well... I guess that was something... Right??!
Crazy ending. I'm upset with it, but I'm also not. Where the characters end up? Many absolutely hilarious, some heartwarming like the best friends.
Eh. I guess the way they wrap this story up was a somewhat neat idea, even if it's not entirely plausible. (Although that can be said about almost any season of this show.) But it feels like it ended with a whimper rather than a bang.
Overall, season 6 kind of sucked. S4 was definitely the show at its best.
No one will believe me, if I say I didn't cry.
It's my 1st time re-watching the show after 3.5 years. Many more times to go.

What a great ending for a show such as this. Plus, the fact that Laurie was going to end up in jail was so obvious that it was actually hilarious.
