Skavlan is a Swedish-Norwegian talk show hosted by Norwegian journalist Fredrik Skavlan. Many international celebrities have visited Skavlan, including Jay-Z, Vince Vaughn, Shakira and Rihanna. The first season of the show was a ratings success, with a Swedish viewership as high as 1,690,000 for one episode. The second season surpassed the first season as far as ratings were concerned. At the most, the show was seen by 2,925,000 people (Norway and Sweden combined), making the show bigger than The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien in the United States.

This autumn's first program will be hosted by actor David Dencik, current with the biofilm of Thomas Quick, Norwegian skiing star Petter Northug, dance professional Tony Irving and Norwegian crime writer Anne Holt. On stage stands The Mamas who drove behind John Lundvik in ESC.

After educating the world leaders at the UN, Greta Thunberg comes to Skavlan to talk about the reactions and new life in the US. We also meet documentary filmmaker Michael Moore, one of the few who predicted that Donald Trump could win the presidential election. Right now, Democrats in Congress are investigating Trump's attempt to buy mistress Stormy Daniel's silence. Her testimony may, according to some, be a basis for national law. In Skavlan she tells about the meeting that changed her life. And psychology professor Steven Pinker, who is considered one of the world's influential thinkers, thinks that reason and science have made life better than never before - even if it doesn't feel like it.

Guests in the program are actor Josephine Bornebusch, current with her own drama comedy Love Me, and Josefine Frida Pettersen (Noora in Skam), who debuts in the movie Disco. We meet composer Jacob Mühlrad, current with documentary and new album Time. On the stage, 30 singers perform in front of the Radio Choir. There will also be music with Brandon Jenner performing the song Death Of Me, and tell you what it is like to be the son of the world's most famous trans woman, Caitlyn Jenner, and part of the Kardashian clan.

Guests this time are Dr. Ruth Westheimer, who escaped from the Nazis and became a sniper in the Jewish military, before eventually taking on the role of the entire US beloved sex therapist, and Wall Street millionaire Anthony Scaramucci, who was fired as White House communications manager after 11 days. In addition, Skavlan is visited by author Joyce Carol Oates, current with the book "My life as a rat", and super producer Mark Ronson, now out with his most personal album to date.

This time, Fredrik Skavlan is being hosted by actor Christina Schollin, currently up to date with her memoirs, Alain Robert, one of the world's foremost freighters, Australian comedian Hannah Gadsby and Norwegian Dag Otto Lauritzen, who, after accidents and heart problems, wants to learn the value of pain. On stage: hitmaker Michael Kiwanuka.

We also meet British Sabrina Cohen-Hatton, whose groundbreaking psychological research on stress-making decision-making has had a worldwide impact. Also: With his reflections on life, the Indian yogi Sadhguru has gained millions of followers in social media.

Guests this time are Sweden's most football coach of all time, Sven-Göran Eriksson, and author Malcolm Gladwell, a superstar in the popular science world. In addition, Fredrik Skavlan meets the very successful but injured Norwegian handball player Nora Mørk and the popular British historian Mary Beard.

This time Fredrik Skavlan is visited by hockey legend Peter Forsberg, and actor and comedian Nour El Refai, currently in the SVT series Landet Lyckopiller.
