I don't know... Great acting, pretty good character development, but boring. I don't want to rate it because I think it just might not be the show for me. I'm a fan of unrealistic, over-the-top shows and a fan of realistic dramas. I just don't like when a show tries to do both. But that's just me....
This was a great series. Wanted to see Saint die in the end, but the ending they had for him was a lot more satisfying.
One of the best shows I’ve ever watched, hooked until the very end. A must watch for anyone!
I really really was loving this show up until season 5 and then the characters started making absolutely no sense... Doing and saying ridiculous things, and most of all being extremely delusional to the point where I'm literally yelling at my TV, because I just couldn't stand the hypocrisy, and the weird character development in some of them.
Especially Louie. Her extreme delusions never ended - constantly blaming Franklin for choices she made? I never once felt bad for her - only Jerome, poor dude getting caught in the middle of all of that...
Teddy also changed, and i sort of understand what they were trying to do... Maybe... But most of the time his actions didn't make any sense whatsoever. I mean... To just suddenly turn on Franklin in such a hardcore way and steal all of his money... I thought they were "in this together"... Just bizarre. ♂
This had so much POTENTIAL! And they effed it up so bad.
Tries to be Breaking Bad, but 95% or the plot and characters fail after season 1. TERRIBLE second season.
This show is ok but it has a terrible habit of leaving things out. These aren't really spoilers, we are 5 episodes in and so far, there was a struggle, someone was killed someone else was injured, they never showed it, I guess it happened in between episodes. It was questionable if a plane could land and who would be waiting now they are in their separate rooms on talking on the phone, must have landed ok and had no problems, guess it happened in between episodes. Character decides he's out of the business, not going to do it anymore, all of a sudden pulling 4 kilo out, hmmm, something must have happened in between episodes. It's making what is an alright show hard to watch.
I have to say outstanding writing and the narrative is holding still
Ok this one starts out well. I liked it a lot and then sort of wondered if it was losing it's steam as many shows do. I've just finished the 3rd season. It rocks. I feel this is a proper classic in the making if it maintains it. A bit of diamond in the rough because I had never heard of it before and nobody I speak to seems to know much about it here in UK. Love the era it's based in, think there is some quality acting. It's probably not perfect but you know a show is good when you come out of the 3rd season thinking... Sh£t yeah... I can't wait for seasons 4! Definitely check it out.
only seen one ep and damn this is a good ass show will be looking forward to this season. great show
This is not your average drug dealer series. The writing in great. The acting is well done. The casting is pretty near perfection. Don’t pass this one up. It covers nearly the entire drug industry from the street to the government, across the world. If you like all of the Power series or shows like Godfather of Harlem, you will love this show.

just done watching the finale... i'll be damned
10/10
Just finished the series finale. What a brilliant and somewhat underrated show. Highly recommended if you want a great journey with well written characters.
7/10. Not a terrible show, but it didn't do much to separate itself from the rest of the drug shows like Breaking Bad, etc. The CIA subplot was really interesting, but I wish they dove more into the historical fiction-style subplot rather than focusing on the family drama.
So I'm on episode 5 (Seven- Four) and I'm confused as hell. Does this show just jump from one scene to another scene with no context? I.E: In episode 3 at the end, Lucia,Gustavo, and Pedro are going to kill Enrique. Beginning of episode 4, they show the three all fucked up without showing us how it went down. End of episode 4, Teddy and Alejandro are in a jungle. Beginning of episode 5, they're in the Mexican desert with Alejandro near death with a head wound. It's not so much confusing as it is annoying. Do they do this throughout the show?
This show is more or less Ozark meets Atlanta. If that sounds compelling, its because it is! The show has nicely cut 10 episode seasons that never overstay their welcome, while telling a tight and engaging story. It won't be for everybody, but its not due to quality. This show is produced as good as any, and further proof that FX only puts out bangers!
Average Season Review: 8.33/10
Recommendation: At Least Give it a Whirl (For Ozark Fans)
[HBO Max] What makes this series different from many others that deal with drug trafficking is the way in which it has managed to create a solid group of characters and establish a series of consistent alliances. The impossibility of getting out of a circle that traps as if it were a spider web is raised in the development of the series until the final season. Like Walter White, Franklin Saint supposes the progressive transformation into a monster, and both represent, more solidly the first, two characters that represent the development of television in recent decades.
Wow...what a ending.Hands down one of the best shows made.Up there with the wire, breaking bad and the sopranos.
What a show, loved it till the end. Not one dull episode. RECOMMENDED
Unlike most, I do not comment on a show until the series has ended, and for good reasons. Why did I rate this show a 9/10? Well, it started great. The first season was nearly perfect. Some seasons were not all that great but entertaining nonetheless. The last season, particularly the last episode, sealed the deal for me. This is by far one of the best tv series I've watched in a long time. The last episode was unarguably the best closing of any series I've ever watched.
Six seasons in and still one of the best shows on.Has not been a bad season yet.
As much as I do like the show, I feel that after series 5 it has to end.
Just my own personal feeling.
Series 1 I was 1/2 & 1/2 with it. Some episodes were background music while others I was right into them.
I was the same way with series 4.
Series 2 & 3 have been the best. Then series 1 & 4.
Really really good show! This one just gets better and better for each session.
Good serie! Worth the watch
Great show. Must watch!! 10/10
Ignore the realities of the "supposed reality" and this is a slow moving (not Great) but enjoyable drug crime STORY...
Addicting! I binge watched the first two seasons and am caught up to current airings. I hate having to wait for the next episode haha.
miami vice has nothing to worry about. this show has good acting but the story has lots of holes and action missing.
hyhyh yuhyy thht yhh thyh
i just dont like when a show
Love the vibe where the 80s meet GTA Vice City kind of mix. People said they had concerns with the pacing but personally I loved it. The character development, the main characters making moves that put them further and further 'in the game'... Looking forward to season 2.

Just watched the pilot and this is a superb show!
Slickly written with good choice of cast and well acted, the directing is pretty top notch.
It's not dumbed down like allot of trash; it shows the emotional reasons why some smart poor kids turn to crime and has a sinister political twist to boot.
Hope it gets the audience and recognition it deserves, think this is going to be a hit!
