It has a slow start but it's getting better with every episode. One thing remains stable though - Jennifer Connelly’s performance. She's excellent in this show.
That scene between Josie and Bess.
It is a damn good episode. Mostly because I finally realized that this show is about order versus chaos. It is about the fucking stupid communist masses vs the few smart individuals with actual accountability for the rest of them however unrecognized it is. From now on it is going to be a pain to watch as I sense the direction is rooting for the plebs here and they are considered the good guys. My morale code is to root for Melanie and her type of people all the way. I am sorry that she could not recognize Ruth's good intentions in the mad heat of the moment ... that I assume will mean more trouble.
i can't believe thats the last time for her and miles and miles...
and Josie is the real shit, i respect her from heart! i mean frozen her whole hand just to break and fight back? damn thats insane sacrifice:sob:
The weight Melanie has to carry is immense. Like she said to Miles at the end, it's about putting the needs of the train first. She'll never get the recognition for that though. The rest of them will only see the simplest part and moan about it. Isn't that just like humans.

You can literally see the plot armor that Melanie is wearing in this episode.
