Ohhh, nice ramp up to end of season cliffhanger!
todd is childish. why always is act like a baby. grown ass man can't even stand up against himself. that's what bothering me in the whole show. but the story and other things are ok.
Just another frustrating episode where Todd more and more becomes the bad guy. Episode by episode it's like Todd never stops rediscovering his mother is a person with her own feeling and thoughts. That doesn't stop him from disrespecting her autonomy and demanding she make moves she clearly isn't ready for. She finally makes a move to show she's starting to move on and everyone "yells" at her to move faster and farther. This is a grown accomplished women who is clearly in control of her life in spite of the devastating state of her relationship. These adult children should be taking lessons from her not forcing her to move where they want her to move.
The other problem is that everyone here sucks at evaluating risk. Everyone is so clearly against Todd even contacting this woman who "ruined him" but a) she didn't try to murder him b) she's not addictive like heroin ("Not even once") and c) she has been a valuable source of information in a case that was extremely important. No one properly considers what he actually did against what he gained. Maybe if they did they would find some way to get assistance that didn't involve risking Todd getting sucked back into her orbit like having Lyle speak with her.

I would enjoy this show a lot more if Margaret and Allison stopped being so annoyingly and overly judgmental about Todd’s every single move, when themselves have issues of their own to work out too.
