Anthony Mackie is so BRILLIANT
Beautiful. Brilliant acting and heartfelt, thought provoking story.
I really liked this episode. And it was really great acting.
Anthony Mackie is such a great actor
Is every episode gonna be so damn sad? And so related to our mortality?
The only thing I didn’t like storywise is that from what I understood, his family knows he’s getting a “replacement” so I personally don’t think I would want that, maybe it would be cool for a last goodbye/conversation/hug but I don’t know if I could live with a replacement, but the alternative would be the family not knowing he dies and there’s a new Tom, so what’s less fucked up? Knowing or not knowing?
And I do see this being a thing in a future, where instead of focusing on curing the terminally ill, THEY focus on cloning/replacements, but there’s no way one of those would be just $30K
This is a minute detail but based off these names and some of the dialogue I can only imagined this was written for a white man and they did a color-blind casting situation. Anthony acted strongly though

Absolutely phenomenal, heartbreaking episode that makes you think about your own life, and respect how one actor can carry an entire story.
