This is the first episode, in the junk shop called Sooty and Co. Sooty is feeling very homesick and Matthew is willing to do anything to get a smile on Sooty's face. It's not long until he does get a smile. Also Sooty, Sweep and Soo get a Camper Van so they can make deliveries to people, and Matthew gets a old bike!
In this episode Sooty and Soo are playing with bubbles, but Sweep decides to make his own bubbles. But then, they decide to play with balloons, Sooty has enough puff to blow them up but Sweep doesnt, so he fills them with water and throws them at Matthew!
There is problems with the plumbing in Sooty & Co., when Matthew, Sooty, Sweep, Soo and Scampi are in the kitchen there is a leak due to Scampi for messing about with the plumbing. Then, Matthew and Sooty serve Mo in the shop, the ceiling is leaking and Mo gets soaked. Soo says to Matthew he could go out for some fresh air, but Matthew isn't to pleased when it is raining outside, but Matthew has a few mishaps outside!
Some say there's real money to be made out of scrap metal - ergo, the idea gets way to deep into the minds of Sooty, Sweep, Soo and Little Cousin Scampi.
Matthew is looking after a old orament for a friend. Matthew says he is very valuable and very old. Sweep sets a few traps so that no-one will steal Buddy Jolly, but Matthew gets worried went he doesnt know that Sweep has Buddy Jolly and Matthew falls into the traps set by Sweep. (Note This Episode Is a PG Rating For Mild Blood)
Matthew feels Sooty, Sweep, Soo and Little Cousin Scampi's attitude towards customers is terrible, so he arranges for some Staff Training. It doesn't end up the way matthew had hoped!
Sooty and Sweep tease Soo and take away her "Squaffy" and won't give it back, but then she and Matthew find out Sooty and Sweep also have pieces of old cloth called "Softy Smoother" and "Mr Puppy". Rod, Jane and Freddy visit them and sing "Just Like A Friend".
Matthew decides to go on a boat trip for the weekend himself, he says he is organised but when he forgets things or has trouble and gets Sooty and Sweep to go out and help him. It is proven he isn't as organised as he thinks.
Matthew is having an incredibly bad day. First, none of his alarm clocks work and he is late for getting up and then his watch stops working. Sooty tries to mend his watch, but he only ends up ruining it. So Sooty looks for a new watch for Matthew and finds a waterproof divers watch. Matthew asks Sooty how he knows the watch is waterproof. Sooty then demonstrates using a hosepipe and Matthew gets a soaking!
While Matthew is drying off, the magician, Shahid Malek, arrives to help Sooty fix Matthew's watch. Later, Matthew was busy on the telephone making an order for 100 clocks and sends Sooty and Sweep to fetch them in the campervan. But, when Sooty and Sweep come back, they don't have 100 clocks, but 100 cocks (baby chicks)! Matthew misheard the person on the phone and everyone sings "Think of the Good Times".
Sooty buys a lot of joke exploding buns from the joke shop. Mo from the market buys some and brings them back complaining that they exploded, then Matthew and Sooty are leave woith them and need to get rid of the buns and fast. Everyone ends up messy.
After looking at theme park brouchures and are unable to visit any theme parks due to low income, Sooty, Sweep, Soo and Little Cousin Scampi decide to set up a theme park called Sooty and Co's. World of Fun to raise money. Matthew thinks it won't be a sucess but he is proved wrong.
Matthew has lost his voice and can't speak, so Sooty decides to invent a magic voice box to cure Matthew. It works. Then Sweep asks if he can have a go because he doesn't like his voice. This time is isnt so sucessful, Sweep's voice is now used by Soo and Soo's voice is used by Sweep!
Everyone has a phobia in this episode, this gives Sooty a chance to try and cure them by using magic spells.
Soo convinces Matthew they can sell anything if they advertise it, so Sooty and Little Cousin Scampi make a video, Sweep makes a banner and Soo does a radio commerical, but not everything goes to plan. Sooty and Matthew go to the local shopping centre to try and attract customers to Sooty & Co, but they don't have much luck either. Then Soo comes up with a great idea to make money for the shop. Matthew sings "Everything's A Bargin".
Matthew has been reading a scary story and Matthew, Soo and Scampi dare Sooty and Sweep to sleep outside in the Camper Van for a night. All throught the episode they do things to stop them from leaving, but in the end they do and return to sleep outside Sooty & Co., but Scampi fools them and Sooty and Sweep lose the bet.
