Hijacking a space shuttle to help up John Jameson against Venom and Carnage, Spider-Man ends up stuck on Counter-Earth, an Earth like planet in the same orbit on other side of the sun. There he finds a high tech society where humanoid animals, the beastials, rule under the leadership of the High Evolutionary, while humans are seen as second class citizens.

More like a 6.5/10. This show was good in it's own way, as it tried to take it's own direction from what Spider-Man is usually about. While it is an interesting turn and seeing Spider-Man in these events is welcome because it's different, that doesn't necessarily mean it was all done right. The new suit and environment are cool, but some of the characters, dialogue, and voice acting could have used work. Carnage and Venom seemed more like a typical duo of silly villains instead of serious threats most of the time as well. It's a shame the show ended with a cliffhanger because a few more episodes leading to a conclusion would have been nice, but I wouldn't have wanted this show to have lasted too long either. Check it out if you're a big fan of Spider-Man and want to see just what he's been through, it doesn't hurt for just 13 episodes. However, if you're just getting into Spider-Man and want a show to watch about the wall crawler, it isn't this one.
