Better gay representation than Love, Simon.

[7.6/10] Oh man, I remember this episode getting the ire of a bunch of religious folks for having the gall to depict two male characters raising a baby together. But as usual, you should ignore the outrage and enjoy this as the delightful farce it is. Seeing two goofy characters like SpongeBob and Patrick try to raise a baby clam, and riff on all the 1950s homelife tropes is amusing as all hell. Their general well-meaning incompetence, Patrick’s neverending, never-occurring promises to help, and the mass of dirty diapers are all big laughs. It’s a ridiculous premise for an episode, but that totally works for SpongeBob and the episode is very enjoyable in how silly it is.
