Anyone care to explain to me why Bashir couldn't simply replicate another dress uniform when he realized he'd misplaced his? It's not like they're forced to ration replicator usage like the crew of a certain ship lost in the Delta Quadrant…

The big flaw with this episode is the rushed conclusion. There's no proper wrap-up, and the viewer is left with more questions than answers about how the game functions. Which is the point, I suppose…but that doesn't make it any less frustrating. And we never see the Wadi again, either.

Second bad episode in a row. It's astonishingly bad. Rightfully considered among the top 5 worst episodes in DS9. I like nothing of this: neither the alien race, nor the game (what a silly idea to be sucked into a game!) nor its cheap set design nor the notion that first contact could really be that strange nor the unsatisfying ending. That's all I'm willing to say. This episode doesn't deserve more words.
