It seems like every episode Worf is ridiculed for being "too Klingon" or "not Klingon enough".

They are ruining Worf day by day.

Of the expected quality for this period of DS9 - an extra star for Sisko (and frankly any Starfleet captain) having to deal with casualties.

Tense and mostly exciting, while being a bit too predictable at points. The only people who die are the background characters while our main cast get through things just fine, and by this point it's something we see coming from a mile away. The episode does make an effort to cover this up, though, because we've seen Muniz in several previous episodes (although, he would be easy to forget) and Sisko has a wonderful conversation with Dax at the end about how these were all people with their own interesting lives.

It does work well as a character piece. O'Brien loses a friend and butts head with Worf, and those scenes are quite strong, as well as their mending of bridges at the end. Sisko gets to show that he's too intelligent to let a Vorta get to him with mind tricks or sweet talk, plus he gives his crew a good talking to. The rock quarry used here is also a nice location visually.

Another action filled episode. Strange. That's two action episodes in a row. But I like this one better.

It's tense, dramatic, emotional, sad and exciting. They are fearless, bold and compassionate. It's great that Ben knows exactly what he is supposed to do and still constantly questions his mission and his decisons. In some later episodes, we'll learn how cruel war can really be and this episode is the first taste of it in the show. In good old ST style, a previously unknown guy will die but it's perhaps too much to ask for to kill one of the main characters like it's GoT. TV wasn't ready for this. Still not sure whether the hidden changeling was an obvious plot twist or came as a surprise when I watched this the first time. I mean, in hindsight it feels very logical but I wish I could watch this episode like the time when it first aired.

Other strong points: You learn more about the Dominion. The outcome isn't a boring happy end: due to cultural misunderstandings and distrust people die.
