The best part was when a bunch of Wall-Es/Evas showed up and started talking! XD
I was expecting Burnham to run around in a white tank top and yelling "Yippee ki-yay motherf**er" any time.
After I thought it couldn’t get worse, they brought this totally useless episode with Huey, Dewey, and Louie joining the the crew in a senseless fight in the end - tbh story was already senseless, so I m quiet not sure what is bad what senseless. First things first: Season 2 was good. Really. And I thought we could somehow get back to the real Trek in S3. But I finally have that feeling that they don’t had any clue what should happen in S3. This turn Arround with peace offer. Why did she (the green one, gosh first Series in ages where I am still not able to remember the names due to these boring characters) not just :asterisk_symbol:call:asterisk_symbol: instead of invading the HQ to... offer peace? Really? Are u kiddin me? And this all happening while John Mc... sry Michael is creeping through the ship, writing letters to mum and extracting the main engineer my blasting a hole into the outer wall. Only because otherwise he would have gone back to Saru and friends (which never ever appeared for a moment in the whole ep). Wow. What a crap. Let’s hope that Michael somehow leaves the show at the end. And maybe all others besides.... hmm. Who should stay?
Uch I can't get over how terrible this show is. It's so painful to watch. I feel compelled to watch it because it's Star Trek but it's just a heavily polished turd through and through.
Michael Burnham has always been terrible so it's nice to see less of her in these last couple of episodes.
What happened to Tig Notaro? No scenes because she ain't bridge crew?
Tilly as captain is horrible.
Osyraa is a shitty villain. She's no intimidating at all and her green skin is just stupid. They totally revamped Klingons early in the series (which was completely unnecessary) but said "naw Orions are perfect as just green humans".
And the premise of the season where they jumped 900 years into the future was always utter crap.
Well that was an unexpected and interesting twist! It's getting better again :)
I'd never expected that move from Osyraa and it was kinda compelling. I didn't want to buy it but the lie detector made it difficult. Seems like she's getting pretty desperate but she's clearly pretty smart. I really didn't expect that the Admiral would insist that she would be tried for her crimes. It's a complicated situation but that did at least end the negotiations too quickly...
Poor Paul though. His whole family/world on the line :o
The repair droids at the end where pretty cool though tbh.
Federation is offered peace, naw, they'd rather start blastin'. Wall-E and BB-8 make an appearance.... This is dumb.
It looks like this season is building towards an exciting climax. Osyraa and her gang aren't the most impressive bad guys, but they did manage to surprise me a little here. Bringing back the jerk from earlier in the season was a good move, but mostly it felt like Osyraa's idea to forge a new Federation seemed like a not-completely-terrible idea... for a few moments, at least. The admiral did a great job opposite her.
Putting aside the fun of Burnham going all John McClane, the moment in this one which really struck a chord with me was what happened between her and Stamets. His screaming, "we came to the future for you!" felt like a real slap to the face, and hopefully a wake up call for her. I find her character fascinating but it's a constant battle because her priorities and ideas (while often admirable) seem to always be misplaced. I keep waiting for her to learn from her mistakes - this season has improved her quite a bit but there are further steps to go.
This is closer to Laurel and Hardy than to Star Trek.
I can't even claim that it is a parody of Star Trek. They don't exaggeratedly push this show in one direction, for some simple jokes.
These producers and writers seriously believe that this is modern sci-fi. And that these protagonists represent the best and smartest humanity and aliens have to offer. Which is about as realistic as these writer ever winning a Nobel Prize in Literature.
“Regulators. We regulate any stealin' of his property. We’re damn good too. But you can’t be any geek off the street. You gotta be handy with the steel, if you know what I mean. Earn your keep. Regulators, mount up!”
Even Wall-E and his brothers/sister came for help to rescue the ship. They should also help with the scrip.
Well THAT was some kind of awesome.
Network must be regretting signing for 4th season. So bad. Need a real captain and number 1.
Federation commander asking the green lady to be judged of her crimes...
Sooooo...
that was shit.
Did 930-600 something years ago federation asked the same thing from Klingons or from Romulans, when they made peace?
Was romulan empire more honorable or crime free?
Is future federation is more ethical than past federation, I doubt it...
COME ON WRITERS, YES OSYRA ASKING FOR "MERGER" IS GOOD STUFF, BUT STILL...
The only thing this episode needed was a giant Christmas tree in the plaza:christmas_tree:
8/10
Another Great episode with so much going on to retake the ship. Michael will save the day. Osyaar's thinks she is a badass, yea right our Michael is a Badass and you fcuk with her Crew and ship, trust me it doesn't end well for you. I hope we get more Michael next season because this Masterpiece of a show is at it's best when every episode focuses on Michael,
She's frickin awesome and so interesting. I'm so glad the season finale will be on her to save the ship and the Federation. I knew the sphere data wouldn't allow an enemy to capture the ship and crew. And this is why the Discovery is the most coolest and Awesome ship
in the History of Star Trek.
Michael made the right call getting Paul off the ship
Hella Yeah and I expect her to get a big promotion out of this like "The Chair"
Oh Hella Yeah...please
(Dream come True).
Tilly no...just..no
That's all I'm saying.
The Admiral was a Boss the way he handled Osyaar's, I'm loving him.
Okay Michael let's go save everyone,
you know you got this.
AND NOW FOR THE SEASON FINALE OF
STAR TREK DISCOVERY
And of course the far left plonkers writing this season had to ruin this episode as well by that BS about capitalism.
michael should give space for other people be annoying besides her
The emotional impact of that closing scene is greatly enhanced by having watched, “Ephraim & Dot,” which is a video short from the, “Short Treks,” series.

Was whispering along at a 7 until the end. Alas no Hugs but some Kinky Bad guys. How low can this show? (Go)
Got to get a new XO, perhaps something a bit higher ranked then a Ensign with confidence issues!

Great episode. The Admiral is such a boss, totally stole the show. Also those DOT's are super cute. Looking forward to the finale!
