I think this episode is the nail in the coffin for me. Utter drivel. I'm giving up on this series.

I remember when Star Trek was awesome and adventurous, now it’s just a load of woke touchy freely crap

Gosh. Samurais again. Tilly dressed like she's a valkyrie straight from Bayreuth. The rest is talk, talk, FX, Tron light effects, shaky cameras, emotions, hugging, tears. That's really the low point of the franchise. What happened to philospophy, ethics geo/stellar politics, skillful diplomacy, first contacts, the human urge to discover and grow personally when challenged? And why are they always whispering? Are they afraid of eves-dropper? If I could see how that season might lead to somewhere, but it's pointless. Even all those emotions and feelings doesn't make you attached to one of these characters. Why should you be attached to them? They are not real people - they are just fictional heroes from a Marvel book and/or shallow personifications of an unearned pathos. They even fail to tell a concise story! Can you summarize what happened up to this point with Discovery or what even happened in this season? I certainly can't.

Enough with the feelings. Let’s get back to sci-fi.

So many emotions! I cried more than once... I love the character growth on this show, and the writing is getting better and better every season.

Tilly is starting to get even more annoying.

I love how open the show is about being hurt and healing, about being emotional and seeking help. About trust, love and friendship. Way too often we only see toxic behaviour in shows or movies, it's sooo nice to see something different!

Star Trek: Blue Edition. Where everybody is sad all the time and there's a blue light filter on everything. The Star Trek universe is 'Optimistic'. To boldly go! The writers for this show seem to have forgotten that.

[7.0/10] I like Burnham, her mom, and Tilly going on a Qowat Milat hunt. I like Book finding some unexpected solace on Ni'Var. I'm even on board with Gray finding so simple a solution to his "being seen" issue that seems like it should be a bigger challenge. But the episode gives our heroes their victories in these stories too easily, which ultimately makes them less impactful. Gray's story comes out the best because we see Adira fretting and feeling guilty and dealing with the emotional turmoil of having to wonder if their partner is going to make it or not. The other two plots have good ideas at the center, but make the solutions come to easily to the main characters, weakens the themes and character development at play rather than strengthening it.

how is Burnham still an actress...

Another good episode
From an Outstanding show, I really loved how we all pulled a win from this one before we get back to the big Bad of this season.
Great Gray is finally with us after ages trying to solve his problem,
Captain Burnham was amazing as always and I have full faith in that she will save the Galaxy from whatever this anomaly is.
She's got this.
Tilly absolutely killed it
This episode, she's
Awesome anyway but in this episode she was on fire, got to love Tilly.
This show is the
Perfect Trek and this season and especially this episode proves it in spades.
I love this show 3000
It's so frickin Awesome,
It's Flawless in every way.

Honestly, the problem is that I don't really care about any of the characters.

The Trill issue? Already had enough of that in DS9... and I suppose there'll be "issues" following recent developments.

Saru, ship counselor... why exactly did he come back?

And that convent issue... well... did anyone think about the fact that some species in hibernation waking up could pose potential risks? Why did they go into hibernation?

I'd like more of a focus on the storylines, less on teary reunions or midlife-crises. Focus on the gravitational phenomenon (which's going to turn out being a lifeform, I suppose), focus on the reformation of the Federation, but leave out all that repetitive drama (and breathy/dramatic voices).

Another beautiful episode. Brilliant story with a solid execution.
The only regrettable thing about this new season is the choice to remove to the series from Netflix.

Damn Michael is looking hot with those long locks!

Some bad acting and better fight scenes in the original in 1966 Star Trek. Burnham is so annoying with the whisper talk and so emotional. I just hope this is last season so they can reboot!

I experienced their catharses like mini orgasms.
:taco::taco::taco::taco:
(Definitely rates four tacos)
YMMV...If you're not feelin' it, then move along home, and find something you can!
