This episode has maybe an interesting philosophical core, but it's kind of boring: Most of the scenes are boring talk between the same persons (bomb, Paris, B'Elanna, Shmullus) in the very same rooms (Sick Bay mostly). Plus, it's not very credible that the warhead has such a fiery personality. Even when - only God knows how - the weapon takes over Shmullus. You can't even watch this over-dramatic in a casual and relaxed way. There's just way too much angry shouting.

John Carpenter did the talking bomb way better. At least that was comedy. This is meant to be serious and it fails on all accounts.

Picardo's performance is out of the question but everything else is just stupid. And I'm almost afraid to point out logical errors like, how can that alien ship rendezvous with Voyager when The Doctor/Bomb has control of the sensors? Not to mention the whole premise is flawed from the start. How do they not detect that this is a WMD on the planet before even beaming it on board ?

And I hope the writers where not expecting sympathy for a bombs self sacrifice.
