Gosh, I can watch her for ours. She's romantic (even Chakotay clearly isn't). Another great performance of Ryan. Although exploring this side of Ryan is intriguing, this episode is still kind of boring. As much as I understand her reasons why she uses the holo-deck as a safe training ground, why didn't they come up with a real love story? Why again a holo-addiction? Why another "commanding officer" who is pursuing love in a virtual world? Why so many clichés? Cooking, piano music, candles? Chocolate and roses, anyone? Is that really how Seven would copy others? Why can't they tell a normal, regular and believable love story?

Ehhh chotay seems like an odd choice for this. And while I would love to see Seven explore her emotional side more I don’t think the end made this episode necessary. Instead the doctor or Janeway should have showed her how to balance personal and work life as that’s a skill she should have.

A pretty useless episode since we're basically back to square one at the end. Not that everything in between was an epiphany. And that final scene with Chakotay ? Only to put more emphasis on the point that Seven is denied emotions and feelings? Yeah, thanks I didn't got that at all.

Snoozefest, the A and B stories should have been reversed. Even then, I'm not sure the episode would be that much better.

I really enjoyed this episode and it showing that behind Seven's mask, she is still human and craves human intimacy, social interaction and general comfort, even if she herself tries to hide or deny her feelings. This episode I think also speaks really well to neurodivergent people.
