The introduction of the Klingons is a much better episode than the introduction of the Romulans. Interesting to see that Kor is also Baltar from Battlestar Galactica.

The Organians are the ideal

Make fun of their costumes and make-up as much as you want (they already did it themselves in DS9's fun Trials and Tribble-ations episode: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xka6IYCpj4E), but these Klingons look better than most Klingons in Nu-Trek.

Most of the time this a very boring episode. The danger the Klingons project is papable but it's all boring talk. The occupation premise had so much more to offer. It's a solid entry of the Klingons to the franchise though. All characteristics of their race are basically defined in this first episode. However, the episode is mediocre at best. The idea that weapons now radiate heat and are "too hot to handle" defies physics and is laughable. Suddenly this unremarkable race turns out to be non-corporal "deities" with unlimited powers and a desire for peace-making? Really?

Lol I'm glad they came up with better more believable Klingons

Not the best episode, but, I enjoyed it for what it was.

The introduction of the Klingons is great, if a far cry from what they famously become later. Kirk is super judgemental here.
