Pretty much a blast from start to finish thanks to fantastic setups, payoffs, and some really great dialogue throughout with the main cast. As dry as some of the prequel era can get due to it's heavy dosage of tragedy and politics, episodes like these remind you "Oh yeah, this is still Star Wars" and becomes a rollicking good time that doesn't take itself too seriously. Anakin and Obi-Wan have some fun banter here that calls back to other moments in the series, Padme's chemistry with Anakin feels more palpable and realistic, and even the droids get some good gags, with a "jumping the cliff" moment in particular that's very funny.
Plus it helps that the lightsaber stuff we get here is a treat. The benefits of animation allow the entire affair to be more visually creative then live action and create more interesting scenarios, and this takes full advantage of that. From the initial dogfights to the jumping around on the ship to the final confrontations it's a delight to witness, even if it doesn't have much in the way of thematic substance. Stellar stuff!
I really hate the Droids. Their stupidity and voice is annoying. Too much comic relief.
this episode was such a vibe. Anakin and Padme were so cute and the Obi-Wan Anakin's banter was divine.
Shout out to the continued incompetence of darksiders cause between Ventress and Grievous I'm shocked they won the clone wars at all
The name of the big, evil ship is one of those incredibly on-the-nose things where I have to remind my adult ass that this is a kids show, and also Star Wars has always been incredibly on-the-nose. It helps when you get byproducts like this episode title, which somehow manages to be both ridiculous and cool.
Pretty good, concludes the Malevolence arc and has some decent combat scenes.
Honestly, too much of a copy from the beginning of Revenge of the Sith for my taste...

I deducted a point for the contrived dialogue between Anakin and Padme, but otherwise this is one of the few episodes of the show so far that has really felt like the Star Wars of old. There was rising tension, believable motivations and plans, decisions made by the characters that revealed parts of their personalities, several moving parts of the action that progressed in tandem and then came together, inventive action set pieces and fight choreography, and lest it go unmentioned, some badass lightsaber battles and dogfights. It wasn't perfect, but it had the feel of a third act sequence in the original trilogy, and that's a hell of an accomplishment.
