If that general had won battles before it probably wasn't due to his actions. This is the first time a Jedi just stands in the rear:
general skywalker's ways of strategizing deeply influenced his soldiers way of fighting which is work smarter not harder, the struggles between general krell & captain rex was both uneasy and captivating what a superb episode

7.7/10. This was a vast improvement on the last one, if only because the focus was more on the clones than on General Krell. The discussion among the troops about whether to follow orders and carry out a plan they thought was a death march, or defy their commander and take a different path was an interesting one, especially with the idea that the choice might come down to their programming. I did like how Captain Rex cut a middle path, following the orders but finding enough wiggle room in them to get the job done. Again, Krell seems like too much of a prick to be a jedi master, but this episode handled the push and pull between Rex trying to follow orders on the one hand and protect his men on the other much better than in the prior one.
And the direction and animation was better here too. This one depicted the cacophony and mayhem of war in a much more striking fashion, with some interesting shots that swept through the battle field and conveyed the chaos within it. The design work was solid too, with the caterpillar vehicles and walking tanks seeming alien and inventive. Plus, the episode took time to show that the Clones weren't exactly saints appreciating the sanctity of life either with the way they showed no empathy for wounded enemies or animals. Still, some interesting depictions of battle and exciting set pieces make this one a cut above the prior episode.
