So when the plot of the previous story demanded that Sam go along with the mission despite her father's condition, Hammond offers to find a replacement for her so she can turn it down. But when a team member is injured in this episode and can't go along to look for SG-11, they just set off with only three people and no mention of finding a temporary fourth? What the heck?
