The wide view shots of Natu have a very 90s MK Outworld feel.

A fun double episode that makes use of a cool set to represent a hellish prison - even if it's all very '90s and feels small, they still did well with the resources they had. We finally meet Sokar and he's really not that different to any other Goa'uld, just perhaps even more pretentious that the usual. The most fun aspect is that this brings Apophis back.

It's also good to have Martouf on a mission with the gang.

The fact that this was split into 2 episodes does mean that there's a bit of padding in both halves. The second episode is filled with flashbacks due to the memory device torture and they can feel repetitive, but they are all fairly compelling. I found Sam's history the most interesting.

Kudos to the team, they were exceptionally competent and kept their wits when the back story says they shouldn't have been able to.
