Gotta love how inconsistent symbiote death is on Jaffa. Sometimes the death of the symbiote results in instant painful death and at others, they can last for days.
And why does the death of the symbiote result in the death of the host? Surely the best way for the Tok'ra to refine the substance is to make it less likely to kill the host. Free the imprisoned minds of innocents who've been tormented for centuries.

The twists and turns here are welcome, and the massacre of an entire planet of Jaffa in front of Teal'c is shocking. It's a little difficult to get too invested though, because the "Trust" guys are so bland and lacking in any kind of presence. But I appreciate that each team member here gets to go off and utilise their skill sets, and the overall result is quite exciting.
