in this house we stan a Daniel centric episode
Despite being fairly low key, this works well because of the topics raised and it gets quite heavy at points. The religious extremists are suitably disconcerting and repugnant. I also quite like the locations and sets used here, they lend the whole thing a rustic feel from another time. It's becoming more and more clear that O'Neill doesn't quite fit in his new role but he's still able to do a good job.

Poor Soren. He was a few years early. Had he held his revolution for a little longer, he could have had true power when the Ori came a knocking.
Kudos to Danny here, too. Using a language that these religious fanatics know well enough to rename their country in it as a code they couldn't possibly crack.
