I finally figured out whose story truly makes this show watchable, Pat. He's the one that holds the show together. He's like Professor Xavier.
Her douche bag father is The Finder. He was the star of that one season spinoff of Bones with Michael Clarke Duncan.
Don't worry Dumbo the power was in you the whole time. When the wind starts blowing in your basement you know something is about to happen.
Yet another episode that proves more and more that Pat is the best character and holds this show together. If it wasn't for him I'd have stopped watching. Luke Wilson is the best this show has to offer. Other than Jordan obviously.
Why when the staff started glowing with unprecedented light did Courtney’s pupils dilate? That’s not how eyes work.

Was ok hope it's getting better
Pat continues to be the moral center and the glue of the show. Beyond him, the stuff with the adults -- especially the evil ones -- is once again good here, but the teen angst surrounding Courtney's identity crisis is a killer. Even worse, though, is the fact that pretty much every moment between Courtney and her biological dad is painful not because of the content, but because the acting is so horrendous. Her youth and inexperience makes her side of it somewhat understandable, but there's just no excuse for the actor playing her dad. He's been around a while and it's pretty obvious why his career has never taken off. As such, Stargirl has no one to carry the load in her scenes with him, and it really shows. Fortunately, he appears to be gone already, and that's a very good thing if it's true.
Finally a good episode. This was better than all the other ones, it felt more powerful, more interesting. Now i hope they dont screw the next ones

Definitely the best CW superhero show. Well because DC Universe is involved. Next season they won’t be. It will only be a CW show.
Let’s hope it doesn’t become all sappy and about teen love in season 2. As well as all preachy and over the top PC.
