Subaru Rally Team USA drivers, Chris Atkinson and Patrik Sandell are excited to take their rallycross STI’s to the start line at the season-opening Global Rallycross event in Memphis, Tennessee. Head-to-head against the competition, the team will learn more about their brand-new rallycross machines in one race weekend than all the pre-season testing combined. After a long off-season, the team is confident. Race day has finally arrived.
Tied with one rally win each, can Travis Pastrana and Robbie Durant keep their winning momentum, or will David Higgins and Craig Drew re-assert their dominance? The Global Rallycross series makes its first visit to Canada, as teams roll into Ottawa, Ontario for a double-header weekend. Subaru Rally Team USA is intent on backing up their podium finish with more top results and start playing the strategy game. Rallycross can be a bruising affair, but Chris Atkinson and Patrik Sandell are in the podium fight and won’t let a little bumping get in their way.
Travis Pastrana and David Higgins strap into the fastest cars ever made by Subaru Rally Team USA for the legendary Climb to the Clouds hillclimb event at Mount Washington Auto Road. With over six hundred horsepower and no co-drivers, the drivers are on the limit. One car will go faster than ever before, one won’t make it to the finish.
With just two events remaining, Travis Pastrana has to beat David Higgins at the New England Forest Rally to keep his rally championship hopes alive. An injury to Pastrana’s co-driver on Day 1 seems to hand Higgins the win, but the rally holds another surprise that could change the outcome again.
