Getting better with every episode.

As a first-time viewer (finally decided to jump in now that it's in the final season), this episode felt like the writers saying, "Okay, you get the gist of how fucking warped the Roys really are, so buckle up!"

Just as I'm about to hit play on episode 4, I'm wondering how indisposed Logan really was since getting out the hospital. Calling Ken a fucking idiot made it seem like he and Marcia were plotting since getting home, but after that moment with Shiv, I'm still hoping Chekhov's "morphine" is the reason.

Pretty good episode after the 2nd. Not sure about the characters though. Who jerks off as the COO of a company? Tom is still very hard to read. And Greg is so unlikeable. I think the writers want us to like him but he comes across so arrogant and entitled all things considered.

Loved watching Kendall navigate his way through that storm just to have it all blow up in his face at the end.

I'm also starting to appreciate that this show isn't doing anything too over-the-top in these early episodes, and I'm finding myself in a groove now. These characters are very clearly flawed and complicated, and I'm curious to see where they're all headed.

I've definitely never quite experienced this with a show, where I'm merely fascinated by the characters rather than invested in them, but that's what has me so intrigued.

New goal unlocked: jerk off in my office (or someone’s else, who cares) at the 100th floor, in front of a window, door unlocked.

This show would have been so much shorter if Logan died he is straight up vile. I'm finally starting to like this show more and... ENJOY it. I'm invested now in whatever bullshit these horrible people are doing even if a lot of the dialogue still annoys me and I still hate the editing. Jeremy Strong's acting as Kendall has grown on me too as this very inauthentic and rude tech business man who is unlikable but unfortunately realistic, even if some of how he is played is still a bit Muppet-like to me. The way that Roman's dialogue is written in particular still gets on my nerves, though, but I'm trying to remind myself that that is the point and it's not necessarily the writing it's just how he acts. <=coping

Is there one likeable character in there, somehwere? I mean, Greg's an idiot, Tom's a spineless idiot, Roman a perverted idiot and Kendall just a clueless/naive idiot who doesn't know anything about business.

And what's going on with Logan and Marcia?

PQP, what will happen now?

Shiv (being ushered out by Kendall) : Is everything okay?

Kendall: No, uh. We are on the brink of total corporate collapse

Shiv (eyeing Kendall): Yeah, well that figures... (leaving) Well, call me if you go Lehmann-- 'might want some of these chairs.

This episode gets more into the "oh shit" mode, and diving into conspiracies, so it lays off on the sardonic humor. But it's still there

My fears about Jeremy Strong and Kendall have been addressed. He may still be a Skull and Bones coke head frat bro, but he's shaping up to being interesting under fire, if not necessarily actually effective as CEO, and I can see him leading the show, along with Cox.
The intrigue deepens, both with Marcia, and some outside scheming with Kendall's jag-off equity partner, Stewy. Rava seems to be just personal drama for Kendall, so far.

I somehow found it less engrossing than the previous episodes, it seemed a bit boring than what the series showed before, but on the whole the show continues to be interesting, with Kendall having a really hard time in his new role as the CEO since as it turned out in the last episode the company is in financial difficulties. There is a lot of complicated intrigues and I am not sure I really get all these businessy things, but it looks like Kendall's decision to seek help from his old pal Stewie may backfire as Stewie was seen consorting with the competition. I wonder what else can Greg discover and will he use his knowledge to advance in the company?
