Grodd The Gorilla devises a plan for The Legion, using a time-conveyer to loot the past... and trap the Super Friends in history. Aquaman and Apache Chief are sent to 70 million BC while chasing Black Manta and Giganta, who take diamonds. Green Lantern and Samurai are sent to King Arthur's court and are framed for stealing the treasure by Sinestro and Captain Cold. Batman and Robin are sent to Ancient Rome, and are framed by Grodd and Solomon Grundy for stealing Caesar's gold. Aquaman burries his transmitter where the Hall of Justice will be in the future, and Superman, realizing what has happened, rescues him then the other members. They stop the Legion mining gold from a mine the day before gold is discovered, but Grodd uses his time conveyer to let the villains escape.
