An episode i am so excited to see. Lets go flash!!
Barry made the show so much better. He's good with Arrow, but he brings much more life to Supergirl.
Anything with The Flash is going to be brilliant. This single episode was better then that 2 and a half hour mess called "Batman V Superman"
Best episode so far!!! Amazing crossover!
-1 for forcing Kara/James down my throat for the thousandth time. I could have easily given this episode a perfect ten because I loved seeing Supergirl and The Flash working together to save National City. Plus seeing Silver Banshee AND Livewire working together, I was in heaven. That was until Barry had to start shipping them too. Why can't writers realize that a superhero, especially a FEMALE, can still be a hero without having to have a significant other? I honestly hope Kara's kiss kills him that's how much I hate this pairing. Of course it won't and it'll make Kara realize she loves James even more than ever before. GAG ME WITH A SPOON!
Can they just put Barry and Kara together in a long distant relationship ? Make a cute couple. James is just dull and useless lol. James being all jealous Barry and Kara having superpowers in common or any talk about Kara and James is the weak point.
Now even Cat is giving advice to Kara about James ? Someone give me a barf bag lol. Forcing them on us is why the show wasn't even renewed yet and why ratings can be better.
Good action in this one but too much James and Kara talk in between action. You have the Flash in it. Shut up with all the unnecessary James and Kara talk. Even Barry gives Kara love advice in the end about James....
This could have been better if it wasn't all about how James and Kara should be together. And a fireman saved Kara and defeated the bad guys in a Supergirl and Flash episode ?
When you have David Hardwood killing it as Hank; I don't even see they took a break with his character just to give us more James. The wrong guy left.
My two favorite TV superheroes teaming up and kicking ass? What's not to love?
I really enjoyed Kara and Barry's interactions. They work well together and have easy, natural chemistry that makes them delightful to watch. Also, they are ridiculously adorable and funny. I couldn't help but grin like a maniac the whole episode.
Siobhan and Leslie were just big enough of a threat to make the action scenes interesing. Never mind that it apparently took Siobhan about 2 seconds to master her new abilities of which she'd been unaware all her life. Her makeup and hair were pretty ridiculous, but they were probably based on her comic book look, so I won't complain.
Cat Grant is flawless. I feel like I'm repeating myself, but she is just amazing. Her one-liners are hilarious ("You look like the attractive, yet non-threatening, racially diverse cast of a CW show"). It was nice to see her more vulnerable, motherly side during the park scene. And at this point I'm 99.9% certain that she knows about Kara. If she doesn't, the writers are just insulting her intelligence.
Kara earning the city's forgiveness was actually quite touching, even though it was a pretty cheesy moment. Still, I can handle some cheesiness as long as this golden retriever of a person is happy.
Can James just go away, please? Or, like, I don't know, die? Sacrifice himself Eddie-style in the season finale? I honestly don't care. Just make him disappear. He's useless, his only purpose this episode was to be jealous of Barry, he can't even move his face. Why can't Kara just be single? And if they really insist on putting her in a romantic relatioship, there are a billion better options than goddamn James. Get your shit together, writers. This episode would've been a perfect 10 for me had it not been for that awful forced romance. At least stop pretending that they have chemistry. Seriously, even if they had any, how could Barry possibly have noticed it? He spent like 10 seconds with James. I don't think I've ever been so frustrated with a pairing.
CAN'T WAIT FOR THE FLASH!!!!
Barry and Kara's dynamic was hands down the best part of the episode. Grant are Melissa are terrific and their characters unbelieveably charming, no wonder they worked really well together.
I've been wanting to see Silver Banshee on action and liked her evil team-up with Livewire. Sadly, the fighting scenes fell kinda flat, and them being during the day didn't help, but I enjoyed watching the 4 characters battling it out anyway.
Like other people said, they ruined me a great episode with the Kara/James stuff and the kiss at the end. Seriously, I knew it was coming, but could have been in any other episode but this one. And even Barry giving Kara love advice, if that isn't shoving it down or throats, then I don't know what it is. Still hoping that somehow the writers will realize it doesn't do anything for most of the viewers and sink the ship soon.
It was great having the Flash. Supergirl, Flash and Winn really worked well together...but it highlighted how bad all the other characters/"actors" are on this show. Very glad they got rid of the feminist, "I hate all white males" in Supergirl. However the writing seems to have gotten lazier and lazier...without the hate...they can't create? Rooting for a kick in the butt for Supergirl, would love to see it grow into a good show...even a great show.
Can Barry come back and visit in Season 2?
The friendship between Kara and Barry was honestly adorable - from him bringing her ice cream and her taking him to get donuts, to the race. It's a shame they exist in different worlds and on different networks and can't crossover as often as The Flash, Arrow, and Legends of Tomorrow do.
Best episode of the season for sure! I had never seen The Flash and I think I'm going to watch now! But seriously Kara/James is so annoying… We wan't crossover more often!!
I would have given this episode a 10, if they weren't constantly forcing Kara and James down our throats. Even that goodbye scene between Kara and Barry, had to be about James. Enough already. Even The Flash has more chemistry with her. Also, I love Silver Banshee, yet I was hoping for more action from her.
Wow even a fun cross over ep had to shove awful James x Kara down my throat. Please stop. There is zero chemistry and honestly he's such a weak actor compared to Melissa. It's embarrassing.
Incredibly fun, comedic and action packed episode. The show doesn't deserve the hate it gets but hey, look at BvS. Loud haters doesn't mean you'll be unsuccessful.
Siobhan Smythe was a great character and opponent for Kara Danvers... right up until this episode. She really isn't better than Red Tornado
Great episode coz of the flash but the whole James being jealous and banshee coming in with full Solomon Grundy makeup was all pretty bad.
It's been said before but I'll say it again: Barry and Kara should be together. I don't care if they live in two different worlds. They're adorable.
Flash meets Supergirl, good episode with good chemistry between Barry and Kara
This episode was great as we combine two shows in one. We had Supergirl joined by the Flash and it was everything I didn't know I needed.
Double the heroes means double the fun! I need to check out the Flash's show; he seems like an awesome character!
Fantastic episode! Wow! I did not expect that, first truly good episode of the show. The villains were incredibly goofy looking, but they barely even got screentime so it's OK.
That crossover was so much fun! Barry and Kara's friendship was so adorable and I loved every second of it. :D
Well, that was cute. Now I really want to watch The Flash. Also, Livewire is my fave. I love her.

It was really weird to watch this as someone who only ever saw the Supergirl' trailer and didn't even like it. But surprisingly I really enjoyed it! Some lines were silly and clumsy and there was some really lousy acting moments, but overall it was pretty good. I thought that the bitchy blond woman was kinda funny and the friendship between Supergirl and the Flash maybe have been rushed but still was kinda dare I say cute?.. Very confused about the circumstances of Barry ending up on another earth though. And not just because all the breaches were closed, but also because of continuity. Like will the Flash episode be a prequel to this despite of coming out after?

I really wanted to like this show but I´m drifting more and more towards quitting it.
So far Supergirl has always been cheesy, but it was tolerable and fun cheesy. Unfortunately this episode was extremely cheesy, ordinary, extremely bad written, and the Flash's appearance couldn't have had worst timing. It's too bad
