We get to see more of Helen Slater "original Supergirl" as Kara's foster mom. Who doesn't agree of Kara being a superhero or Alex helping her. Except Alex gets most the blame. Which makes for an awkward Thanksgiving dinner.
While a reporter gets shock abilities and can travel through electricity. Otherwise known as Livewire who you may remember as a villain in Batman the Animated Series.
To me it was awesome to see Livewire in the show and she was one of better villains in the series so far.
Great to see Helen Slater (the original Supergirl) in this episode.
The truth is that this show is going to have a hard enough time since it is super girl overshadowed by super man. I think they need develop the story line more and not focus on who is smashing who when it comes to a relationship.
Was an interesting ep with great action. Nice to see the softer side of Cat Grant appear as well. Looks like they're trying push this James x Kara thing still though which is a shame.
episode 4 didn't air due to the false flag event in france...episode 5 was aired instead......because merica
“Congratulations you have the wit of a YouTube comment” :joy: cats kinda funny, and then supergirl comes in and goes “oh shit up you mean girl” ughhhhahh, cringe physically hurts. It’s not that bad of a show but flash’s cringe is kinda bearable where this is just .... ughhhhahh.
This was probably my favourite episode thus far. we got to see a softer side to Cat Grant which I absol loved. This time we also got to see Kara/Supergirl take on something that wasn't alien but was instead a mutated human. This was a great episode!
Having your mother more fear that the bad guys. These Helen Dean Cain and Kara Slaiter telling her not to use its powers
Great episode!. Enjoyed Livewire, the way she became crazy because of Kara's kryptonian DNA reminded me of the meteor freaks from Smalville.
Was nice to see Cat's more human side, and get to know about her mother and that she has a son. It was really sweet the way she protected Kara against Livewire and the way she related to her family problems.
Henshaw's character keeps getting shadier.
More Helen Slater and Dean Cain and less of James Olsen is always a good thing.

Dean Cain and Helen Slater telling a young Supergirl not to use her powers will never fail to make me laugh.
