Oops did I hear the mention of a Marvel character on a Dc show lol
"Oh wow woman you are a she-hulk"
Mon-El is still one of my favourite characters I don’t care what any of you say
Mon-El can suck really hard sometimes, and be even worse at making decisions. But he was so earnest and adorable this episode. I can't help but love him. Or maybe I just love how good the actor that plays him is at making heartfelt speeches. Who knows?
Also, (mini) GLEE CAST GET TOGETHER!! I got so crazy excited when Darren Chris showed up! OMG!!!
Another crossover episode in which the actual crossover doesn't happen until the very end. At least it was longer than 30 seconds this time.
Yeah, baby! I'm all about crossovers. And a vintage musical crossover? Sign me the fuck up!
I love the fact that Melissa Benoist, Grant Gustin and Darren Criss all used to be on Glee. It must've been a fun little reunion for them to shoot this thing.
Well, would you look at that. Fuckboy isn't just a former slave owner, he's a former prince of slave owners. What a catch, am I right?
(Can he please just die already?)
At least Kara dumped his ass for now, but let's be real, this is the CW. She'll take him back despite the fact that he's a toxic piece of shit. Just free her from this awful relationship. What do I have to do? Cause I'd sell one of my kidneys to make that happen.
Cop Maggie! Cop Maggie! Cop Maggie! Give me more of that, please! Give me 42 minutes of that, I don't give a damn. I love her so much.
Winn is really unlucky when it comes to the ladies. But seriously, this one was his fault. Having sex in a museum? Don't you have a bed for that? Or, I don't know, a kitchen counter? Or any other flat surface in your apartment? If you want an adventure, go skydiving, not commit felonies. And fine, I understand why Lyra did what she did, but why did she even need Winn for that in the first place? She's invisible, for crying out loud. She didn't need a patsy to take the fall. The police would have never been able to prove it was her, anyway.
Good episode. At least we know who the hell Mon-el really is (not that we didn't know): the freaking Prince of Daxam who used to be a slave owner. Seriously, wth is wrong with these people. I'm happy Karaoke dumped on him. It was about time, but we all knów what's gonna happen. I don't like the two of them being together but I would like Kara to listen to what he told his parents. As much as I like the two of them splitting up, I know Mon-El is gonna do something that will get Kara to apologize and forgive him because yada yada yada. Welcome to The CW.
Kara's breaking up felt natural, thought, not like Barry's which was a WTF breaking up.
The CW and it's shows working everything on a lie as if it were the biggest deal in the world. Every show breaks after one lie and for a second there, I was so happy when I saw Winn forgiving Lyra for what she did. I though lies were gonna be over, but scratch that, I can always get worse. I feel Mon-El is going to sacrifice himself in the finale while Kara breaks down crying saying that she's sorry and stuff.
I wasn't surprised Lyra framed Winn. To me it was so obvious since the beginning. However, why the hell did she need Winn for that. She's fucking invisible for God's sake, just steal the painting and get back home. Btw, I need more Winn/Maggie scenes. And more Cop Maggie.
However, I hate Kara being so hypocrite. It seems like the writers don't watch their own show. Kara's parents were not good either. I mean, they did things she didn't agree and the same did Mon-El parents. In this show everyone lies to Kara, everyone. It seems like it's too easy, although it's like lying to a puppy.
And tomorrow, Glee reunion. Whenever there's a crossover, don't expect it to happen until the last minute of Supergirl.
I'm just getting my head around the fact that tomorrow Barry and Kara are going to be singing while Ollie gets mindlessly tortured, but I guess it's all because Prometheus "takes his job very seriously".
What an ending! I'm so hyped for the musical crossover!
It feels like it's been forever since Kara and Winn shared scenes together. They used to be really close during early stages (see what I did there?), I hope they can go back to that place eventually. This parallel between Winn's relationship with Lyra and Kara's with Mon-El was interesting to see.
There will always be two... three sides whether Mon-El is right for Kara or not, but truth to be told he's not the same person since his arrival to earth. He's learning very slowly on how to become an improved version of himself. He's not perfect, far from it, but the way he was written never indicate that he was. He has messed up quite a few times.
On the other hand, I feel like Kara will always be too good and too perfect for any guy really. She has her heart in the right place though! Personally I'm rooting for Karamel.
I hope we get to see more of Teri Hatcher!
Finally we get to know Mon-El and Daxam's backstory, it was about time to flesh out his character and link his story to Kara's other than being a romantic interest. That's the reason he has more potential than the other addition to the main cast. The break up scene was sad, but very well acted by both Melissa & Chris. Plus we know they'll get back together soon, lol, at least I think they'll be on good terms after the Flash episode. I do think Mon-El is making the wrong choice though. He's finally seen the way his parents ruled their planet was shitty, but as the soon-to-be king, he has the chance to lead a new Daxam, I think that's, in part, the reason why Kara let go of him.
Nice to listen to Tamzin Merchant's accent again. Sucks that she played Winn. Good to see they are okay.
I feel bad for enjoying watching James been thrown around like a puppet and being mocked at for trying to be a hero. I guess this is what Laurel haters felt when she first became the Black Canary. Ew.
Just watched the ending scene so I’m not logging the whole episode but love it:v: one of my favorite crossovers is happening lol (also I cannot get over how cute Mon-el and Kara were in the beginning ignoring what happens later tho:hand:)
The problem with this episode is that the two biggest reveals I saw coming from a mile away. I could tell that Mon El was the prince from a very early stage and as for Winn being used yeah that was obvious too. I'm not too struck in the ending which helps to set up for the rest of the crossover, if you're going to do a crossover I was hoping for it to be incorporated in more of the episode not just the last few minutes.
Kara is such a brat. (Btw it took the writers long enough to reveal that Mon-El was the Prince (a fact that was apparent when he was first introduced to the show)). Her love interest with Lena Luthor and the daily preaching she does about how people can change and not become their parents is a bit hypocritical when faced with the change in Mon-El. Is he perfect? Far from it. Is he annoying in his efforts to become what he thinks she will like? Of course. That being said, maybe he is better off without the spoiled Kryptonian. ;-)
A crossover with flash that links little
Si shippeo mucho a Kara con Mon-El pero quitate que quiero mi episodio musical <3
"We are six seasons in and winter still hasn't come" lol I wonder what show they could POSSIBLY be talking about…
Hamilton tickets? That's an old joke at this point, guys.
srsly can some1 please explain how a crossover works to the writers of supergirl??? last few minutes don't count its a setup...good episode not really a surprise in it already knew Mon-el was the prince and that Winn was being duped...do feel sorry for Winn though
Lyra using Winn for something felt a little obvious to me from the start. I'm just disappointed that she actually was. Plus eh...Robo Dud James is back.
Tomorrow is the sing along crossover. Whenever they say a crossover starts on Supergirl. Never expect it to happen until the end.
