Supergirl better give me more SuperCorp content immediately.
No Alex and Maggie in this one. More of James pretty much telling aliens who don't need armor, to leave it to the professionals though. When he just beats up thugs that Kara can defeat with her pinky.
Then I had to laugh because James was actually seen working after his first Guardian scene. Since he was probably writing an article about how great Guardian is.
James can't replace Cat as boss but Snapper is hilarious and I love his scenes with Kara. Even when he's nice...he's mean, I love it.
While Rahul Kohli (iZombie) does a good job as a suave character than he plays on iZombie. Who has his eyes on Lena Luther. Kara is suspicious of him though that he might be the villain of the week.
Because of lex Luther from smallville and Morgana from merlin, I just get the feeling Lena is gonna turn evil and I really don’t want it to happen. Best character.
This was a pretty strong episode. Yeah, Maggie wasn't there and Alex only showed up for a moment, and I love them both so much, but I'm glad that Kara had so much storyline. And Mon-El only appeared in like two scenes, which is a win in my book.
At this point I'm almost convinced that Lena knows about Kara being Supergirl. This whole "What's your Kryptonite?" shit is unbelievable. Lena's a smart cookie, I wouldn't be surprised if she figured it out by herself, especially since Kara's not exactly that subtle when it comes to hiding her identity. Anyone remember "I flew here... on a bus."? Because I do. And it still makes me cackle.
(Also, the couch scene? GAY.)
Look at that, the writers remembered that James exists! I really like his friendship with Winn, and their scenes with Lyra were funny. It kind of balanced the more serious stuff that happened in the episode.
I thought it was a pretty clever twist that the CFO was the real bad guy. It was also fun to see Rahul Kohli. I like him a lot on iZombie.
Snapper hired Kara back! Thank Rao! This whole blogging thing wasn't good for her and I'm glad it's over. He has great timing too. With Calista confirmed to return for the final two episodes of the season, I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of Cat's wrath if she came back and found out that her favorite employee had been fired. Heads would roll.
What does Queen Bitch want to do with Lena? What could she possibly need from a human that she doesn't already have on her giant ship? And why choose Lena of all people? Unless she wants her to seduce Kara and get her to dump Mon-El, this doesn't make sense to me at all.
Each episode depicts a super snowflake whining about some petty little thing. annoying. this series had great potential. sad!
What a great villain this episode had! That ending tho… oh no
This episode was great. I'm sad that we didn't get to see Alex and Maggie at all but Lena Author was there so all is good.
Things I enjoyed about this episode:
°Kara being a reporter and all her scenes with Snapper (gotta admit I miss Cat, though)
°Kara and Lena's friendship
°The shenanigans (what can I say... Mon-El is such a fun and funny character)
°Winn and Lyra (she's awesome and they make a cool couple)
°No relationship drama (well, tbh there was the Lena and Jack drama, but they're not really main characters, so I don't think it really counts)
Guardian is sooooo lame. Please end this storyline.
I like relationships Kara / Alex and Kara / Lena
I feel really dumb, I knew the show had the actor that was Superman in the 1990's but I just realized that one of the actresses played Lois in the same 90's show. Now we just need a character for the actress who played Zena to balance off the actor who played Hercules. Wow... I get distracted way too easily...
Always love the Lena arcs and always hates guardian arcs lol. Overall a nice episode :-)
I'm so excited for this episode.. Lena needs Kara with her for emotional support.... aww
April 24 is release date

Man, I missed this, although actually I don't know how to feel about it. I certainly expected more after this three-week hiatus. But any episode with Lena Luthor is a good episode. It was a bit light, but it had some great things. I freaking love the way Lena knocked out Beth like, listen bitch, I'm a Luthor. I love her character. I don't really want her to be bad,but I feel like we're attending to the evil turning of Lena, like the origin of evil Lena. I love this Clark and Lex vibe going with Kara and Lena. I'm assuming she doesn't know Kara is Supergirl, and that is what will drive Lena to the edge. She's gonna be so pissed and hurt and although at the end she could understand it, my spidey senses tell me she's gonna be mad at Kara and thus, her villain origin story begins.
I also loved that the intro of this episode finally makes sense. I mean, Kara hasn't been a reporter for a long while and now she turned the page. Snapper is not Cat but I like the guy. His last conversation with Kara at the end was fantastic. And his line about not starting a food truck was hilarious.
The Lyra stuff, on the other hand, was kinda boring. You already know how it is gonna end before it starts. I love seeing Winn being happy with her and the writers giving everyone who works for the DEO having a backstory. But Lyra really seems legitimately crazy. I don't go them to go full on psycho crazy girlfriend.
Kara and Mon-El were great today. He's a funny sidekick with a lot of potential and this is the right amount of screen time he needs, enough not to make me hate him again. For once, Mon-El was more than a pretty face and was actually there to help Kara, despite his adorkability and awkwardness. Non-relationship scenes are the ones I enjoy with him and Kara. "This is creepy journalism". I loved that line.
And that Jack Shpeer is a handsome motherfucker. Man, I get he's Lena's krytonite.
