Happy to see that after more than two months hiatus, the episode did NOT disappoint and was HIGHLY enjoyable. I'm also happy that we're back to a Winn centered one, it's been a while since we've had that. And man, I did not know he had such deathly glares and stares. The speech he gave his mom about the night she left him gave me shivers. Wow. Loved their dynamic though. And I love how they're making Supergirl extra badass. AND the karaoke theme. Man, so many things to love here. Welcome back!
Side note: Is it just me or the transition between scenes was slick as hell? Glen Winter is smoooooth.
Filler episode.... filler episode...... filler episode......
Why why why why did they prevent us from watching (and hearing) Jeremy Jordan really sing? He's perfect! (Oh boy, I miss Smash)
everytime a New Episode aired it reminds me of the fappening :-D
I am glad that we got to see more of Winn's character as he is a genuinely loveable character.
My only downside to this episode is I would have like to see a lot more of Sam and Lena, but it looks like there plot is gearing up for something big so I am ready for it.
god i love winn's mom
Every Supergirl episode should be a Winn-centric episode. His character has been seriously underplayed since the beginning. And like Kara said, he doesn’t always get the credit.
Halfway through the show I was going to come out here just to say, 'Supergirl's Awsome,' only to see that Mon-El's pretty awsome too.
finally after a month of waiting its here !

Finally! After what seemed like a lifetime, Supergirl is back!
I had high hopes for this episode after that long break and I've gotta say it, I enjoyed it a LOT. It had a bit of everything and, for me, it's one of the best episodes this season. I'm so damn glad they put the focus on Winn for once. He's a freaking treasure and deserves more screen time than just a couple of lines. So if you manage to pull that off, giving us insight into Winn's character, give me some J'onn-Alex-Dad scenes, fight choreography, Mon El's cape trick and a freaking T-Rex, that's a win for me (no puns intended).
Laurie Metcalf was amazing. I can only think of her ad the mother of a nerd. That conversation she had with Winn while learning about the flying monkey hit me hard, but not as much as Winn opening his heart and telling his mom what he's gone through. That was some serious acting. I love how she casually wandered through the DEO and no-one even seemed to care about it. Her chemistry with Winn was great. I loved Winn's "Mom! Recently, I'm cautious".
I loved that first scene, so random but so fitting at the same time. Three seasons waiting for it and here it was! Kara's performance was hilarious. And she chose Intergalactic! Lol. Kara-oke! (I'll let myself out). Loved Karaoke dancing and loved drunk Alex singing. She should pair up with drunk Caitlin.
That J'onn-Alex-Dad dinner scene was absolutely amazing. I love their relationship together and how much J'onn means to Alex as a father figure. When J'onn's dad forgot the word "wine" I thought to myself, please don't go there, don't you dare make him lose his memory cause that's gonna break a whole in my cold heart. Guess what they did. That hit me right in the feels. I love their dynamic and I don't want any of them to suffer. Jesus, I love his dad.
I love that Lena calls it work when she means being locked up working in a creepy basement making tests to a Worldkiller. Such a Luthor thing to do.
We also got info about Pestilence. I liked that Mon-El was finally competent for once. I hated him destroying my all time favourite "Carry on my Wayward Son". Someone please, punish him for that.
Cape tricks were good and an upgrade to Kara's suit sounds even better, although I can't stop thinking of Edna Mode saying "No capes!" every damn time.
Overall, great episode. Made me feel for each character.
