I don't recall, is Doug the first to go "fuck this shit, I'm out"? You'd think that would happen more often than not...
The "troublesome" monsters are only a part of a bigger population, huh? Can someone do the math and try to come up with a way to account for how many people would have to go missing to sustain such a big population without raising suspicion? And then there's the fact that now a good part of those "peaceful" monsters know at least Sam's face - I'm not sure if the angle would've shown Dean with enough detail. I wonder if dismantling this little operation will have repercussions, perhaps forcing their clients into hunting?
11 episodes in and still no sign of Crowley! I’m starting to think he is actually dead dead... I’m not having this, gonna start a bring back Crowley petition soon
Man.... Sam is in his midlife crisis haha!
I think I don’t like when they r out of main storyline and and want to fast forward.. I like the show a lot but really enough of these episodes out of the main story. They’ve already done enough till this season and it would be better of they make the season 13 episodes and just with the main story.

"It ends bloody. It ends bad". Well, not only was that line ominous, but so sad. Sam's always the positive guy and seeing him emotionally troubled broke my heart. Every season we get a version of that quote, but it's normally Dean the one uttering it, so hearing it from Sam was heartbreaking. However, I loved the switch. And I'm glad Dean just so open talking about feelings.
I would've liked to retake the main storyline and not having it all cramped up in the last episodes but if the episode is a creepy MOTW I'm down for it.
Overall, the episode was amazingly creepy, disturbing and screwed up. I've got a soft spot for creepy cold opens and tonight's was great. The episode felt very season 1-like, which I'm glad for. The episodes without real monsters but disturbed people will always be the creepiest ones for me. That's why I've always considered The Benders a masterpiece. However, tonight's episode was even more disturbing. Dean said it once "demons I get, but people are crazy". Selling human body parts in an auction. The concept just makes me dizzy. Btw, I loved the boys rather opposite reaction to seeing the auction for the first time. Dean sat through it while Sam had to pause it, unable to watch it.
The outcome of the episode and the monster behind the mask was pretty obvious to me right from the beginning, but that didn't prevent me from enjoying it. It bothered me that the guys, especially Sam, didn't suspect the FBI guy was behind it, especially when he was told that there was an auction for human body parts and he showed up without any back up. But I can forgive Sam cause he was probably desperate to find Wendy before she ended up killed.
I love me some Donna. Not only is she lovely, but also a badass. The interrogation scene was gold. "Don't lie to God!", even Chuck would've been scared. She's always a joy to be around and she ended up heartbroken. Doug and Donna are so cute together.
Doug's reaction to the whole "monsters are real" was so real and human that it felt weird. I don't really recall a lot of people saying they weren't built for that shit. In fact, probably all of them have, in some way or another, contributed to the whole monster hunting business.
I was rooting for him to become a hunter, but I'm pleased with the end result. It would've been fun to see the couple in action, though. However heartbroken Donna was in that final scene, it sets up an amazing backstory for Wayward Sisters. The way he said goodbye and calling her a hero was lovely. I'm glad he didn't push her to choose between him and Hunter life. He simply knew that's Donna's life. Very nice, Doug.
I'm dying to know how the hell do monsters have so much money to begin with? Do they steal their way into everything? Do they have a saving account? And now that the whole auction thing is over, I wonder what the repercussions will be. Guess those monsters will go out hunting again.
It was fun to see that the monsters would go crazy over an auction if the items are Sam or Dean.
The people in that truck stop were really creepy but for some reason that wiper Jesus-like guy at the gas station was fun.
Btw, Dean's right. Pancakes are to be respected, even if you're not hungry.
There were a couple of funny quotes tonight: "Mister rise and freaking shine", I'm using it from now on. And "Usually, we do this next part kinda slow, so you can feel it, but since Dean's out there, quick and dirty". Gotta guess efficiency is vital when being followed by a Winchester.
Looking forward to next week's episode and Rowena's comeback. Can't wait for it!
