13x04 The Big Empty

That scene f*cking touched me :((((

Honestly I'm loving the drama between Dean and Jack, and it paid back at the end when Dean complimented him and he smiled, I smiled too I couldn't help it

Also I'm not a big fan of shapeshiffter episodes cuz they all have the same trick of taking the form of the boys and try to take them down, but this episode was a bit different.. And Sam almost die if it wasn't of Jack and notice how he couldn't use his powers but when the people he love get in danger it automatically activated

Lastly we saw Cas in the Empty which is the place that angels go to when they die and they stay sleeping forever but Cas is the first person to wake up in the empty because of Jack when he called him, and the Empty existed even before the universe and God!!! So that makes us wonder what's the nature of that place and who live in it besides dead angels and their cosmic entities, cuz Cas entity said that even God doesn't have authority there, yet Jack managed to interfere with that place and wakes a dead angel up, so how powerful is Jack!!!!

Anyway, then we saw Cas on earth at the end of the episode, probably sent back by his cosmic entity

Great episode waiting for Cas to meet Jack

What a great episode! Definitely one of the best so far. Lots of things in just 42 minutes. Therapy session, Dean apologizing, Sam's mommy issues, Dean and Jack finally bonding, and CAS!!!

The character development is perfect and the writing is fantastic, props to Meredith Glynn. I'm getting S1-S5 vibes. Shapeshifters! One of my favourite monsters ever. Dean ripping his face off was an stunning scene. A grief counselor in Supernatural is so fitting.

Jared is fantastic. The argument and the make out scene hit me so hard. "You had something with mom I never had. And now I'm just supposed to accept that I'll never have it?" Right in the feels. Dean admitting he needs Sam to keep faith, damn. I love that they aren't bottling up their feelings and bringing topics from the past like demon blood or Dean surprisingly admitting that acting like John wasn't a bad thing.
Jack had me at "Hello". He's a cinnamon roll. Too precious for this world. Dean's warming up to him! Finally. His smile when Dean left.
The Jack and Kelly scene was so touching. It was damn time someone gave that sweetie a hug! I can't believe how much I love him after just 4 episodes. He wants to be good so badly.

Misha's performance gave me the chills. He's a blessing. The man can act. That pseudo-Brittish and slightly clowny accent was amazing. All the different Cas personas he's done and none of them resembles another. Talking to himself has to be one of the best acting he's done on the show. Thinking about how he shot it makes me love him even more. Now I get why he said this is the most difficult thing he's ever done.
The cosmic entity is a great addition to the lore. That embodiment of the nothing itself gave me Lovecraft vibes. I'm exited to know more about it.
Cas' old tie! Does he have his wings back? Is he the real deal? Cas + the Empty? I'm sensing a plot twist.
Episodes get better and better. I've always loved the "monsters aren't always bad" theme and I'm glad they're bringing it back.
