This was ok. Not great but ok. I enjoyed visiting Donna. It was also good to find out what kind of cockamamie plan Billie gave to Dean. Why the heck would Dean trust her that much. She's been out for him for a long time. Eternity in a box might just be her idea of punishment. I still say pull the other Michael out of the box and rehab him.

Nick's story is also ok. I'm hoping to see him transform into a demon. Maybe a prince or a knight.

Speculation on my part.
In 2 episode it's the 300th. JDM will be on the show. Dad, John Winchester. Maybe he takes Deans place in the box?

Generally I’m a fan of episodes written by Davy Perez, but this one bored me. Mainly because I DONT CARE ABOUT NICK AND WANT PELLEGRINO WRITTEN OFF THE SHOW FOR ONCE AND FOR ALL. I also don’t care about Mary. Sam, Donna, and my darling Birthday Boy Dean were the only parts I enjoyed.

LOVE nick going crazy over finding his family's murderer. honestly enjoy it more than the michael storyline
also, maybe im dumb or something but if dean's willing to get shipped out to the bottom of the ocean to live with michael for eternity then why dont they use the archangel blade and just kill dean/michael? did they lose it or break it or something?

That hug from behind and that "Take care, Sammy". :3
Whoo-hoo, Donna and Mary, two of my least favorite recurring characters. At least they've both become more tolerable with time. Still waiting for Mary to die for good, though.
I'm reeeeally not liking this "Nick is a psycho" plot
Really? You have a box sealed with ANGEL magic, yet a basic power drill can get through it in 4 seconds?
Sam sure as hell didn't care about a brother being locked away for eternity with Michael when it was Adam...

This show is at its best when Team Winchester works together and kicks ass. In this one, Dean goes off alone. It's at its best when they communicate and work a common plan. In this one, Dean gets secretive. Again. It's at its best when they use witty dialogue to cut the tension that largely defines the show. In this one, they traded tension for angst. Lots of angst. Way too much angst.
