I’m crazy excited for this new season! Who will join me on this final ride with our Supernatural fam?
God freaking damn.. That last scene when they said we got work to do and cut to the original scene just made me tear up!! Supernatural been part of my life since season 2 premiered so this episode was so emotional to me since its the beginning of the end :(
But Supernatural and SPN family will always be in my heart
Anyway let's talk about this episode, it's a good first episode and we still don't know the scope of the souls that rove the world, are they centered for this moment in one area or they literally all over the world cuz that would be a harder job for my boys but for now Demon Jack helped with a spell!
Speaking of Demon Jack I really like his personality LOL, he adds to the mood of the episode and so far was very helpful.. My guess is that he will take over on another body in future episodes, this way we gonna have him around and still have Jack's body if he somehow come back which I hope so
Now about Sam, I'm really concerned about his wound cuz Cas said there's energy in that and the flashes showed something similar to the time when Sammy was a demon, so I really hope he won't turn evil cuz we have enough problems to deal with now and we need both the boys to focus on them without distraction
Now for Dean, I really really hope Michael won't bother him.. I'm afraid that he will try to rule the earth like what he did on his other world and we don't want an Archangel to be our enemy during this apocalypse.. But we still need to know that even in hell our boys have allies like their third neglected brother LOL or even some demons who share interest in getting Hell back like Demon Jack, so I'll be hopeful
In the end I wanna say.. I love you Dean , I love you Sam , I love you Cas and Supernatural will live in our hearts forever
Love my SPN family
Jack 2.0 is awesome, but this is an uneven episode overall. Still, the table is set for the final run; and now that they realize that Chuck has been playing them, it's Our Heroes vs Every Soul in Hell in one final season-long battle.
That was way more spookier than everything that AHS has done so far this year.
I kinda wonder if 'the end' is not just another aspect of Chuck's "plan."
SPN episode premieres. Check.
SPN makes me cry. Double check.
If I had to define this episode in just one word, it'd be that, "Nostalgia".
"We've got work to do"
I love Supernatural. Dammit! Love it. I'll never get tired. When I saw that shot from the trunk I knew the line was coming and I uttered it along with them. That line alone just put a smile in my face but the cut to the original scene really got me. I just teared up. God, I love this show so damn much.
No other show gets me as emotional. At the beginning I was actually shaking, like for real. I was crazy excited, but knowing this is the final season gave me a bittersweet taste. However, this show has been my life for 15 long years and it's a constant, so actually saying goodbye, just thinking about it ending makes me sad. But the Supernatural family will always be in my heart. Always.
Now, enough of that nostalgia. I thoroughly enjoyed the episode. Yeah, maybe it wasn't the best premiere ever, it had a couple of mistakes, acting wasn't as good as it normally is, but overall, it got me excited for the next. I agree with comments here saying it would've been better not to make the episode in broad daylight. Just having a clown appearing is terrifying enough for me, but doing it at night would've made it far better.
Another weird thing was related to those ghosts. Why the hell were they running towards Sam? Aren't they supernatural creatures who can actually move without actually having to use their legs? For Petee's sake, they just teleported! I I couldn't help but laughing. It looked so stupid. But this comes from a show which actually makes supernatural creatures resort to punching in the face instead of using their supernatural powers.
I loved Alex Calvert's new character. That was a very nice performance on his side. The character is witty, fun to watch and I can see him staying regardless of the actually Jack coming back. He had good lines and a good presence. "We were all worshiping this giant rock that looked like a huge penis". That got me intrigued. Also his "cool" when seeing the sheriff had just died and his transition from "yeah, poor guy" to just carve his heart out. It cracked me up
The whole Sam thing has me really intrigued. At first, I was sure Cas had that vision of Samifer/Souless Sam. But after rewatching, I'm not so sure. Maybe it was Sam's vision and, as always, is not talking about it until it's too late. I saw the season trailer back then and there's a shot of Sam wearing that white Lucifer suit, like in season 5. I still have no idea what it means. I'm really intrigued by that energy Cas talked about.
"I wouldn't starve" I wish I had Cas' positive attitude towards a disaster. The spells they use are sort of getting out of hand. If only they'd known what graveyard dirt and angel blood could do, their job would've been easier.
On a side note, I love to hear Dean referring to Jack as "our kid", especially after what went down in the finale.Sam's line at the end saying that if God's gone, it's just them was hopeful and sort of depressing at the same time. Although I still don't understand how Sam thinks it's just that easy to get rid of Chuck.
Overall they set a good storyline for the season. We still don't know the scope of the souls that have been released from Hell but I can't wait to find out more. Our boys against millions of souls from hell. I can't wait. Here's to them.
Well, thats it. I had a tear. Yep
Insane start and nice to bring old demons back and the ending with the cut was epic old memories :)
Finally old seasons’ vibes!! Love it!
This one of my favorite shows
This episode would’ve been so much better if it wasn’t done in broad daylight, had better effects, better acting and directing. But I still enjoyed it. I’m adamant about liking this season. God help me.
Well, can't say it's a great episode.. I hope the plot grows more complex and I really wish the script improves over the rest of this final season.
Poor acting from our beloved cast this episode. IMO. Lame.
SO SO SO SO SO sad it's the last and sick of the urnolists saying it's going on to long I think without a doubt this show could go on for 50 SEASONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
I'm gonna miss you my brothers.... (and of course Cass)

Hopefully the show ends with Castiel or Jack as God.
