I almost forgot about Kaia. They only ever mention her when she's in the episode.
"Earth 2"? Really? That's what we're calling it? What is this, a comic book?
It looked like Chuck was giving a Ted Talk in front of those screens.
Did the writers just pull a "Sir, this is a Wendy's" joke?
"The failed spin-offs." Sorry, writers, but maybe if you had asked viewers if they wanted Bloodlines and Wayward Sisters instead of assuming we did, you wouldn't have wasted your time and money on them.

Completely and utterly forgot about Patience. The writers have such a bad habit of only mentioning characters when they're relevant to the plot.

I swear, I am going to punch these writers. So, Sam, Dean, and Mary all carved their initials in the table but no one invited Cas or Jack to do the same? So much for "we're family". Cas has been there for these boys longer and more faithfully than their mother, but he still gets treated like a pet in the background.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. After all these YEARS, Cas and Jody have NEVER met? That can't be right. Surely not. What about when everyone was gathered to do other world shenanigans? Surely then, right? Are you telling me these boys don't interact with Jody off-screen?

"What is that, some kind of BS male chivalry thing?" ...What? I...I can't even wrap my mind around how stupid that line was. What's with writers thinking the only way to empower a female character is by having them put down the male characters? Jody's never made comments like that before, and she's too much of a detective to jump to conclusions like that.

The whole plan with Billie and The Empty and whatnot is turning out to be rather underwhelming. This entire final season is, but I've already said that enough times...

So, first things first. I'm so damn happy this show's back on, especially after what's going on. Quarantining is hard but this felt like a teeny-tiny sense of normal in a now chaotic world.

I'm angry with one thing, though. I can take the whole I'm evil, ending humanity, cruel capricious God and stuff, but not littering! That bastard!

Now that I've got that out of the way I got to say that, although I didn't like the episode very much, I'm all for tying up loose ends. The only thing I hope is that this season doesn't become a giant tying-loose-ends show.

I'm glad we got some resolution with the whole dark Kaia thing BUT I got the feeling that the episode went a bit wayward (pun intended). I felt like it would've made so much more sense if Wayward Sisters had been picked up.

The episode promised a heartbreaking rescue and I'm still waiting for it. Maybe I'm being selfish but, do we even care about Kaia? Yeah, her life was tragic but she was around for like 2 episodes. I didn't have much time to care for her. And as it turns out, she wasn't even dead.

Nothing with the whole Kaia situation makes sense. So, dark Kaia came to our world because she thought it was peaceful and now she feels like she doesn't fit, so she wants to go back and save prime Kaia. So, what she's saying is that if she'd liked our world, she would never go back there to save Kaia? But, my favorite part was that she left her everything she needed to survive. Like what, a stone and a lizard?

Another thing that bites me is Claire. We've been told that Kaia was Claire's first love, she's so sad, trying to find who killed her, yada yada yada. What I don't buy is that Kaia bacame the love of her life after meeting her for like 5 minutes. I'd love to think that Claire was affected because she's the one who should've died.

Something that fascinated me is Death's library and I'm glad we finally got an explanation as to why Dean self-trapping in the Malak box was the only way to stop Michael.

So, the books are writing themselves and no one, except Death, can read them. Not even God. I find it really intriguing that God would set himself below the concept of death. It's as if he wanted to be part of his own story, to be so much more than just the author, to live the whole experience. Apparently, his life had to be risked in order for the world to be in harmony. So, what happens then if he dies? What happened with the whole concept of light can't exist without darkness?

Theres one thing that I love about Chuck and that's when he gets all theatric. And probably the only good thing about Chuck being a bad guy is just Rob Benedict. He's unbelievable awesome. I love how meta he gets sometimes. "The failed spin-offs. It's time to start canceling shows".

Also, the thing with the warding made me uneasy. Would Chuck just be suspicious that if it's back up something strange must be happening? Like, supernatural powerful? Maybe it was because he was in another world, who knows.

Now, let's talk about Death. Death's always know how to make an entrance. I don't know why but her presence in this episode was great. I've always complained that she isn't scary enough. Not at least like Julian Richings was. Even he sitting eating pizza felt scary. Maybe it was just the flashback, I don't know. Man, I miss Julian Richings!

Excuse me, but Jack and Cas playing Connect Four was adorable. I'm gonna practice it in my quarantine now. I seriously adore Cas this season. I love how nurturing he's with Jack.

And that ending! The abruptness of it all made it hilarious to me. "You'll be fine. Everything's fine", gives him a reassuring pat, smiles and casts meteors. Seriously, it was a great ending.

Now, next episode looks awesome. I was worried we weren't going to get another light-hearted episode after The Heroes' Journey, but by the looks of it, it looks hilarious.
