cant believe dean had to kill his ex boyfriend :pensive:
OK listen this doesn't make any sense for what Dean is.. He doesn't simply kill another human being and leave even if it was bad.. This bothers me so much that they made Dean do this, it's not like he had no choice, he could've captured him and send him to jail or something
Anyway, now about Sam, he has God's memories and now knows that he's weaker than before so that's a great thing to boots my boys hopes
Also that Russian dude I don't like nor trust, and he brought up the "Key to Death" I bet it would plays a huge role in future episodes, perhaps they will use it to bring Jack back, I miss my Nephilim boy
Last thing I'm glad that Cas is now back and hopefully all of them would work together again and beat God despite how ridiculous that statement was LOL
"I like this you, Castiel" BITCH ME TOO TF
Castiel proud smirk when Eileen tried to choke Sergei and Castiel threatening Sergei, both at 80km. Which one made me stan him HARDER?
Funny how as soon as the girl was done puking his guts out, she didn't seem wasted anymore.
Dean's voice was so deep and gravelly at the beginning, I had to stop mid-chew to make sure there wasn't a demon in my room.
That reference to Yellow Fever. XD
I knew that guy was suspicious as soon as he asked about the case. Doubly so when he acted like he didn't know Angela.
"She was a good girl. Loved Jesus." Really? That's how you describe your alleged best friend after she mysteriously goes missing. Extra weird that she says "was" when there hasn't been any evidence of Angela having died.
Why would they even trust that guy? Of course he made it worse. He has no reason to actually help you. At least Cas had a power play this time. His threats really have improved.
You're trying to tell me Dean is the first victim who tried to tip the chair over? Who tried to reach the tools? You can't even claim everyone else was unconscious because we saw Angela awake in the chair.
And you're ALSO trying to tell me this is the first time that monster has busted out? He broken the locks with ease. He could have done it at any time. What's to stop him from seeking freedom?
The Eileen inconsistency bugs me. She needs to read lips or ASL to know what someone's saying. Then why are there so many scenes where someone is looking away or she is focused on someone else, yet shes still able to follow the conversation?
Despite my (many) gripes above, I enjoyed this episode. If not my favorite thus far, then certainly my second-favorite...

A mostly disappointing final season continues...

"Why do you care so much, Dean?"
"Because someone has to"
I truly loved this episode. Maybe it wasn't as strong as others, but it was necessary to help bring Dean back in the game. And God, I love a good old Dean-centered episode. Seeing Dean happy, singing, enjoying life and reuniting with his old pal was great.
After last week's Sam-centered episode, I figured out this would have less Sam that I would've liked to, but his scenes with Eileen were so damn great. Seeing them cooking breakfast together warmed my heart. These two are so damn cute together.
I loved the cinematography, the atmosphere, the setting. Everything was so fitting. Reminded me of those episodes back in S1-S2. The acting was pretty good and so were the fighting choreographies. I love episodes when humans are the real monsters because as one wise man once said "demons I get, but people are crazy". My only two complaints with this episode are that it was way too obvious that Lee was the bad guy and two, if you're really introducing a new monster, it would've been really great to actually throw some lights in and not to make everything so fast, I couldn't see a damn thing!
I love Christian Kane, though. I was just looking forward to this episode because of him. It was a bit weird to just hear of him now given that he and Dean knew each other way back.
I love when the characters start talking and reminiscing earlier episodes. I absolutely adored the callbacks to Yellow Fever with the cat jumping out of the locker scaring Dean (I still can't say the line "that was scary" without hearing Dean's voice), the ghost sickness and the lip-sync of Eye of the Tiger. I think I'm gonna go back and watch that episode...again.
Well, that and the "this is Dean's other other other other cell". I'll never get tired of it.
And that sheriff, the new Denzel, lol. I'm sad he didn't stay for long. I could've sworn that he was gonna stick around. He was hilarious, especially with that cheeky smile along with the head nod.
Let's take some time to talk about my wonderful, angry, adopted Russian, "I don't give a fuck" Cas. I'm so happy that the writers decided (I hope it continues like that) to make Cas the badass he was when he first got introduced. I loved his cheeky smile when Eileen was threatening Sergei. And how calm he was when casually saying he'd kill a random person if he didn't save Sam.
The fact that Sam was dying didn't surprise me at all. In earlier seasons I remember I flinched every single time one of the boys was about to beat it and now someone dies and it's like, "ok, been there, done that". What I didn't really think is about his soul. I guess we're talking in Harry Potter terms as with horcruxes. A part of Chuck is inside of Sam, thus making him see whatever he's seeing and a part of Sam's soul is in Chuck, thus making him killable.
What I still don't understand, though, is the whole "we can beat God" like, do they remember the whole "light can't exist without dark" scenario? If Chuck's killed then the world ceases to exist. And I'm a bit sad Sam didn't mention Amara when it was quite clear he saw her in Chuck's memories.
Whenever someone says or does something that could get them to God, I can't stop thinking "he's written you to say that". Like holy hell, if I were in their shoes, I'd always be asking myself those questions. Like, "do I know it because I do or has God written it for me to know it?"
I can't wait for "Our Father, Who Aren't in Heaven". The title is so damn promising and I'm so hyped to see Adam again. Poor old thing, I'm glad the boys finally remembered him. And I can't wait for them to call upon Amara.
